Felix ran down the road, glancing at the stab wound in his stomach, then the rising sun. He cursed under his breath, looking around. Where the hell was his apartment?

“Come on, come on! Why can't I remember anything?!” He muttered to himself, hiding behind a tree to catch his breath. He sighed softly, trying to calm down. “Ok. It's fine. There are crazy psychos hunting you and if you move from here you'll literally die, but it's fine. Totally,” he told himself, digging his hands into his denim jacket.

Felix sat there for a second. “All I gotta do is find Zach. Somehow. In broad daylight. While actively bleeding.” He forced himself up, forcing a laugh. “Piece of cake.”

He glanced back up the sky. Dawn. Still early enough to find a place to hang out. As long as he was quick. Felix started walking down the unfamiliar street, still confused on why he couldn't remember anything. The sun was getting higher, it was lucky the buildings blocked it. Felix sighed, eventually ducking into an apartment building. Was it his? He had no idea.

The vampire hissed in pain as the blood leaking out of him increased. Stupid silver daggers. How could he hide this from Zachariah? Normally he could handle being stabbed just fine. Now he felt like he used to… He shook his head and ducked under the staircase, sliding down. God, it hurt. Still, he needed to find his apartment. Reluctantly, he stood up and went over to the front desk, making sure to pull up his hood.

Before he could ask anyone, however, he was ambushed by a blur of gold and green. He tried to fight or yell, but his mouth was covered by the feathers of one of his boyfriend’s four wings. The next thing he knew, he was sitting in a rather lavish apartment containing a million sun reflecting objects. He groaned in annoyance at being teleported to such a bright room, but he was still relieved his boyfriend found him.  Speak of the devil, Zachariah walked in, only increasing Felix’s headache. Though Felix supposed that wasn’t his fault. And he probably shouldn't call his boyfriend the devil.

“Do you have to live in my personal hell?” Felix asked sarcastically, pressing his face into a pillow to try and dull the headache.

“You know that doesn’t work right?” A voice said as a hand yanked the pillow off his head. Felix’s eyes were once again met with the familiar golden glow off his boyfriend. “Morning, Moonlight.” Zachariah said, smirking.

Felix just groaned. “Don't you have an off switch or something? I'm really not in the mood when there are Hunters trying to kill me every time I go outside.” The vampire snarked, trying to press himself as deep into the couch as possible in order to avoid the sun.

Zachariah pulled the curtains closed. “Someone's grumpy.” He was still smiling. Felix rolled his eyes, sitting up. He instantly  regretted his decision, hissing in pain, his hand flying to the wound.

“Ow, f-” Felix stopped himself, looking at his boyfriend, who raised an eyebrow. “Fe-Fernagle.” He corrected himself.

Zachariah rolled his eyes, sitting down. “That's not even a word. Now come here, let me see.”

Felix leaned back, reluctantly retracting his hand from the wound. Zachariah winced as he looked at it. “Shoot, that’s not good. What do these guys have against you?”

Felix winced. “Apparently they found out I’m a vampire–ah!-and jumped to the conclusion that I must be evil and so they are trying to kill me to send me to Hell, where apparently I belong.”
He was quiet for a moment, the situation hitting him at full force. He curled up, tears slowly starting to stream down his face. Zachariah’s eyes widened, and he quickly wrapped his wings around the vampire,

“Whoa, whoa, hey it’s ok… You’ll be fine, don’t worry,” the fallen angel said, careful not to agitate the wound. “It’ll be fine. They won’t find you here, ok? Felix, look at me. They won’t find you. I promise.”

Felix nodded slightly, relaxing. “Yeah… Ok. So what do we do?” He asked, still wishing that he was back in his bed, preferably watching ‘The Sandlot’, or ‘Jurassic Park’.  Anything from 1993, really.

“You are going to go home and rest.” Zachariah said, seeming to read his thoughts. “You got stabbed, babe. Who knows what else they will do to you given the chance?”

Felix nodded, moving to stand. As soon as he did, however, the room started to spin and he nearly collapsed.

Zachariah caught him. “I know that you haven’t had to worry about it in 400 years, but generally people don’t feel great when they lose significant amounts of blood.” He said, smirking slightly.

Felix glared, flipping him off. “Shut up. Don’t pretend like you know what humans do, you aren’t one either.”

Zachariah laughed, helping Felix up. “I was around them quite a bit. Do you want me to take you back to your apartment or not? I could always let you stumble around, y’know.”

“You wouldn’t dare. You like me too much.” Felix smirked. Zachariah just rolled his eyes.

“Yeah, yeah, whatever. Let’s just get you home.” He said. He grabbed Felix’s hand, looking into the man’s eyes. “Hold on tight.”

Felix felt a rush of air surround him, the bright lavish room shifting into a much darker room with a worn down bed in the corner and a few boxes littering the floor. He stumbled a bit as the spinning stopped. “Does that always have to be so rough?” He asked, sitting on the bed.

Zachariah didn’t respond to that question. “...You live like this? I thought you inherited your family’s entire fortune, why would you live like this?” He asked, looking at Felix.

The vampire just shrugged in response, “I did, but it’s a little hard to buy furniture when you can’t go outside when most things are open. I mean, when have you ever heard of a twenty four hour furniture store?”

The angel just sighed. “We will be talking about this later. I’ll see you in a bit. Get some rest, ok?”

Felix nodded, sighing as his boyfriend teleported away. He laid against the bed, shutting his eyes, hoping to get some amount of sleep at the very least.
