"Hey papa I missed you so much." The random girl says kissing his cheek. She's gorgeous. Her skins a deep caramel and her hair is in a curly bun. She lets go and goes to hug Yana too.
"Yaya it's been so long how are you?" Yana doesn't look very excited to see the girl in front of her.
"Hey Alana." Yana grumbles with a fake smile on her face.
My mouth makes a little 'O' out of shock. This is Alana? I've heard so much about her but I've never had a face to correlate everything with. I knew that Kai wouldn't date anyone unattractive but shes stunning. She turns to me.
"You are so pretty love." She says to me smiling
"Aww thank you so much babe. You're gorgeous." I say placing my hand on my heart.
"Hi Im Alana." She says still holding onto Kai's arm but walking up to hug me.
"Hi, I'm Amari." I say hugging her back. When she lets go something in her vibe changes but I can't figure out what so I let it go. She kisses Kai again before mean mugging me. I look around me to make sure she was looking at me before striking up a conversation up with Yana to feel more comfortable. I keep an ear tuned into their conversation.
"What do you want Lana. It's cold so spit it out." Kai says grabbing her face taking her attention off of me.
"I miss you baby. You haven't come to see me in so long." She whines crossing her arms
"I've been busy with shit." He says rolling his eyes looking to his left and to his right.
"So get less busy and let me take care of you coño." She thumps his head.
He grabs her wrist "Tranquillo con todo eso mami."
"Whatever bro," She looks at her phone and I look at Malachi. The look on his face reads frustrated
"I gotta go. My train is bout to come and if I miss it Imma be dumb tight."
"Oh ight you be safe my heart don't miss your train." He dismisses her. She kisses her teeth and says goodbye to Yana before walking away. She bumps into me while walking past me which catches me off guard since she was just really nice to me 20 seconds ago.
"Did I do something?" I whisper to Yana while looking behind me
"Nah shawty just weird don't worry about it." Yana says
I look at Kai watch her walk away and after she goes down the steps he turns around and we get in the car.
"Of all the fucking people in the world I could've seen why did it have to be her!" He yells and Yana laughs. He flicks her face and they play fight.
"Hey don't be mad at me because you can't escape your baby mother." Yana says laughing
"She's prettier than I imagined." I say. He ignores me and turns up his music. The whole way back home his phone kept blowing up and cutting off the music so he made me put my phone on aux. I guess she started calling him because he almost pulled over to make Yana drive but after the 8th call he decided to answer the phone.
"Yes Alana what bro damn!" He yells into the phone
"I'm driving and you're blowing my phone up what's the problem?"
"No... Baby why wou... Bro what the fuck are you talking about! We went bowling how the fuck was I supposed to know?"
"Alana I swear on my father's grave if you..." It gets quiet and he sighs "Stop crying. No you're not on speaker.. Can we finish this when I get home I just pulled up to Canes. Ight bro bye."
He throws his phone into the backseat and gets out the car. His phone continues to vibrate on the floor. We get to the counter to order our food and then go to sit down and wait. I watch him the entire time we wait while talking to Yana.
