3rd Point of View
"Yeah! This is so awesome!" Naruto hollers, throwing his fists up in the air.
"What are you getting excited for, Naruto?" Sakura questions.
"This is my first time leaving the village!"
"This will be a memorable experience for you, then." Mirai replies, walking towards Naruto.
"How am I supposed to trust this runt with my life?" Tazuna grumbles, pointing at Naruto.
"He's with me. You don't need to worry." Kakashi states bluntly.
"Is a C-ranked mission really that dangerous, Kakashi-Sensei?" Mirai asks, slightly worried.
"Of course not. However, if you slack off, you'll probably come back injured. Or dead." Kakashi replies, giving his signature close
"W-what?!" Naruto stutters.
Mirai laughs a bit, patting Naruto on the back. "Don't worry, we won't die, Naruto."
"Alright, it's time to start walking." Kakashi commands. The kids and Tazuna follow his suit.

"Mr. Tazuna?" Sakura asks.
"What is it?"
"Your country is the Land of the Waves, right?"
"Yeah. What of it?"
"Kakashi-Sensei, there are ninja in that country too, aren't they?" Sakura questions, looking at her Sensei.
"No. There are no ninjas in the Land of Waves, but in other countries, there are hidden villages. They each have their own culture and customs, where ninja reside."
Kakashi continues to explain the hidden villages and why the Land of Waves don't need ninja. He concludes his explanation with a short description of the leaders, also known as the Kages.
"So the Lord Hokage is really important!" Sakura gasps.
"Of course he is. He is a leader for a reason." Mirai blurts, crossing her arms. "He makes the plans for the future of our village. He even rules over the Anbu unit!" A twinkle in Mirai's eyes appear.
"You seem to hold an admiration for Anbu, huh?" Kakashi asks, looking down at his awe-struck student.
"Yes! I want to become a great Anbu! It would be an honor to protect the Hokage and go on super secret missions like my parents and brother!"
"One day, you'll have to protect me when I become Hokage, believe it!" Naruto smiles. "Not that I need protection once I become the greatest ninja alive, though." He laughs.
"That's a pretty intense role for you to dream of right now. You should think about it a little more." Kakashi says, patting his student's head and continuing on. He didn't want to imagine any of his students going through the grueling missions he endured during his time in the Anbu. However, if any one of his students could do it, he believed Mirai had a chance.
"What's that supposed to mean?!" Mirai pouts, running after her Sensei.

As they continue walking, Kakashi glances to the floor. A puddle.
Mirai follows his gaze, looking at the puddle, as well. "Is everything okay, Kakashi-Sensei?"
"Of course, Mirai. Why do you ask?" Kakashi asks.
She hardens her gaze at him, causing him to sweat-drop.
Suddenly, chains fly towards Kakashi, squeezing him tightly. A shocked expression is displayed on everyone's faces.
