Zahir had been calling rayne back to back for the last couple of days. It was unlike her to not answer his calls and he was starting to worry.
He didn't want to drag anybody else into the situation because he felt like it wasn't that serious?
He had came home from his trip and wanted to be in her space.
"What the fuck is going on?" He asked out loud.
He rang the doorbell to her home and was met by Stanley.
"How are you today Mr Harris?" He asked.
"Stanley, it's Zahir. Chill with the Mr. Harris shit. I'm doing good though. Is Rayne here?"
He looked back into the house before looking back at Zahir.
"I don't think she wants your company today."
Taken aback by what he said, he pulled out his phone to call her. Again, it went straight to voice mail.
"Come on, let me in man. I gotta see her."
Stanley looked at him for a couple of minutes before leaning in.
"Say man, i think you fucked up with this one."
Zahir started laughing. "I knew you had another side to you. Let me go see her."
Stanley stepped to the side and let him come in the house. Taking the elevator to her floor. He said a silent prayer. Hoping that she was okay. He didn't understand what the problem was.
He knocked on her door and didn't hear anything.
Opening the door, he saw her curled up on her couch watching some movie.
"Why are you ignoring me?" He asked.
Hearing his voice made Rayne jump. She didn't hear him come in. What was he doing here?
"You're ignoring me. Why?" He asked again.
"What are you doing here?"
He walked over to the couch and sat down. They were just fine a couple days ago so what did he miss? Did he do something o upset her? He was genuinely confused.
"Look, if I did some shit that you don't like, let me know. I don't understand how we were just fine and now your phone is going straight to voicemail."
"You told me that you don't have any kids."
He scrunched up his face. "I don't."
"So you mean to tell me that you didn't get no white girl pregnant? She came up to me while i was out and said that she was carrying your child."
"What fucking white girl!? I don't have any kids Rayne. I never messed with a white girl."
"Zahir pleased don't lie to me. I don't have time for it."
He sat back, just staring at her. He was racking his brain trying to figure out which girl he got pregnant. Nobody came to mind.
He didn't remember messing with any white woman ever. Why would she believe what some random said to her?
"I think i need some space."
"Rayne Jalani." He said calmly.
Looking over in his direction, she scrunched her face up. Why was he calling her by her government?
"I'm not about to leave you alone because of some shit that some random chick said to you. Im not giving you space. You've had enough of that. I put that on my life that I don't have any kids or have any on the way. I swear."
"Zahir you not giving me the space i need is only going to make it worse. Please." She sad quietly.
"Look at me."
She looked up at him but quickly looked away. Zahir was pissed. He was fuming.
"If that's what you want, cool. Believe that shit if you want to." He said before getting up and leaving.

.Zahir was sitting at the bar with Ra. They've been going over the final touches for their business expansion for hours and needed a drink.
He had let him know about the shit with rayne and how whoever the woman that had approached her, had him fucked up.
It was hurting his head. He knew for a fact that he didn't have no kids on the way. He wasn't stupid.
"So what you gonna do? She can be stubborn you know." Rah said.
"Man ion know. This shit is pissing me off bad. How could she just believe that shit?"
"You sure you ain't get one of those bitches pregnant?"
"Wassup with you calling them bitches?" He asked.
Rah just laughed.
"I'm sure though. It can't be mine and you know damn well i like to stick to my sisters."
"You could've slipped. You are a lady's man after all."
Zahir cut his eyes at him. "You stupid."
"I could talk to her but i would just give her space. Y'all did move kind of fast."
"Fast? If i see another nigga around your sister, it's going to be a problem."
Rah started laughing again but then he got serious. He didn't play about his sister either.
"Honestly, i think Rayne does need time to heal from what she went through. Yall becoming a couple in only a short amount of time is probably confusing her. Everything was good and now this baby shit? She probably can't deal..."
"If that lady never approached her, we would be laid up right now." He said cutting him off.
Drinking from his cup, he couldn't do nothing but shake his head. Why was shit going like this? They were just good.
"Shit ain't even last that long and now it's some bullshit. I should've just left her alone."
He said the last part quietly. He didn't mean that but then again he did. This was the kind of thing that he didn't want to happen. It could've been anyone approaching her about him. Why would she believe them over him though?
