Ralph was walking down the hallway to his office when he saw Chris's mistress. She was standing at his door watching him walk towards her.

He was confused as to why she was here and how the hell did she know where he worked. He only knew what she looked like because she had seen pictures of her from Chris. He never saw her in person before. She was supposed to be his most kept secret.

"How may I help you?" He asked once he got in front of her.

"I need your help with something."

Opening the office door, he let her walk in first.

"My help with what?"

She went to sit down in the chair in front of his desk. She was taking a huge risk asking him but he had to have had some sort of sympathy for Rayne. He knew what she was going through with him.

"Nothing but honesty between us. Is he looking for her?"

Taken aback by her question, he looked around the room. What was it to her? Was she mad? Upset? Happy?

She was the mistress. Rayne was the wife. He personally thought that Rayne could do better without him. He treated the mistress better anyway.

"Yes."

She scoffed. For what?

"Why?" She asked.

Ralph shrugged. "She's his wife. He wants her back."

She didn't say anything for a minute. Getting her thoughts together she looked up at him.

"Do you know why she left?"

Ralph didn't want to say too much because he didn't want to go against his best fried. Why was she asking these questions. Has she met her before? What was Chris saying to her?

"Yes but i don't think that i should be sharing information about her to you. You're the mistress after all."

She smirked at that. "Soon to be wife." She corrected.

He didn't know what she meant by that so he didn't think nothing of it.

"What are you getting at?"

"Chris doesn't deserve her. He deserves a woman like me. I know how to get him right. I know what he wants and needs. I'm the perfect woman for him, just look at us. We're even having a child for Christ sakes."

Looking down at her stomach, he could see that it was really real. He had told him that she was pregnant but her being in front of him, made him feel bad for Rayne.

From what he was told, they tried a lot to have a baby and it just seeed impossible for them. It was Chris's dream to pass down his business to his son. To keep his legacy going. He was successful so that meant his children had to be successful as well.

"She left for her own reason. Probably the best for her. She clearly wants to stay gone. I think she's moved on to someone else. Seeing someone else only because of what she said to me..."

"Hold up, you've seen her?" Ralph asked, sitting up in his chair.

She nodded her head. "A very very beautiful woman. To me it seems like she doesn't know exactly that I'm carrying Chris's child. It feels like she thinks it belongs to whoever she's currently talking to."

"What?" He thought.

"She left for her own reason." She repeated.

"He treated her like shit most of the time. I felt bad. i still feel bad. She's better off without him anyway." Ralph said quietly.
