4 Months Later;
Rubbing her hands down her waist , Rayne couldn't stop smiling at herself. Everything's bout her felt new. Tattoos decorated her body perfectly. Her confidence was at an all time high.
She was in a better headspace. Her thinking was different. She felt like her 18 year old self again. She was back.
Walking downstairs she was met with a pissed off Rah.
"What's wrong?"
Seeing his sister made him perk up. He noticed a difference in her lately. Something that he's been wanting to see since she came home.
"Just lost a dice game but I'm alright. What you so happy about?"
Smiling, she joined him at the table.
"I'm just happy. Really happy. I officially moved on from my past. It feels good."
"About fucking time. I was tired of seeing you stuck in that damn room and only coming out cause we forced you to."
"Where's dad?"
"Working most likely. He's been working on some high class cases lately. Time consuming for real."
She nodded her head.
Resting her chin in her hand she looked into the kitchen, watching the cooks.
"Can I ask you something without you getting mad?" She asked.
Rah squinted his eyes and looked at her.
"What?"
"How's Zahir?"
"Why you concerned?"
"Touchè."
He couldn't do nothing but laugh at her. He knew about their situation but remained quiet in it. Technically it was none of his business.
Rah didn't want to get involved because he loved the both of them. Figured they would work their shit out.
"If you're over your past, you're over that chapter. Don't dwell on it any longer than you already have."
"What are you my life coach?" She joked.
He mushed her head.
"I always want what's best for you. If it's meant to be, y'all gon find yall way back. Let it rock."
"You're right."
.
.
.
."I would love to get to know you better if you'd let me."
Rayne had ended up at the aquarium. It was one of her favorite places to be. She loved animals.
Here stood this handsome man with this dazzling smile. He had stopped her because to him, she was the most beautiful woman he laid eyes on.
Taking his phone from his hand, Rayne put her number in.
"We'll be seeing each other soon for sure." She said.
He chucked. "Enjoy the rest of your time here."
"Same to you."
Continuing her walk, she stopped in front of the dolphins. The beautiful pink dolphins. She always thought that people were lying about them.
Out the corner of her eye, she saw a man leaning up against the wall, looking in her direction. She had to do a double take to make sure that her eyes weren't playing tricks on her.
Ralph was staring intensely at Rayne. He couldn't believe it. She was still as beautiful as ever but with minor changes. He was trying to get his thoughts together . Most importantly, he didn't want to scare her.
