Morning at the Takeda Estate
The soft light of dawn peeked through the towering trees surrounding the Takeda estate as Isamu Takeda made his way to Ryota's room. His footsteps were measured, his mind troubled. Upon arriving, he opened the door without knocking and found his son sitting on the balcony, sipping tea, lost in thought. Ryota, sensing his father's presence, greeted him calmly.
"You're up early," Ryota said, gesturing for his father to take a seat beside him. "What's on your mind?"
Isamu ignored the pleasantries and went straight to the point. "We need to talk about that boy."
Ryota knew immediately who his father was referring to. He set his cup down and turned to face him, his expression serious. "What about Ren?"
Isamu's tone hardened, his eyes piercing as he spoke. "That boy is a threat to our family's legacy. He is the descendant of Yamora Nakamura, the first user of Astral Fist."
Ryota's eyes widened slightly at the mention of the name. While he had known Ren was a descendant of the first Astral Fist user, Yamora Nakamura was a name lost to history—one Ryota had never encountered. This revelation was significant.
"What do you mean, Father?" Ryota asked, his voice calm but probing.
Isamu stood up and began pacing. "The Takeda family has always produced the strongest sorcerers in every era. This is our heritage, our legacy. But now... Ren's existence threatens that."
Ryota rose from his seat, his height towering over his father. His expression was no longer just serious—it was resolute. Looking directly into Isamu's eyes, he spoke firmly.
"Ren will be the one to lead the next generation. He will reshape the future of sorcery. He will break the cycle of oppression that weak sorcerers face." Ryota's voice was steady, yet it carried the weight of conviction. "He will be the strongest, Father. And with him, a new era will begin—an era where no one is discarded, no one is treated as expendable."
Isamu's eyes flashed with anger, but before he could speak, Ryota's gaze, glowing with his powerful green eagle eyes, stopped him. There was an unshakable confidence in Ryota, a certainty that seemed to radiate from his very soul.
"And I will not send Ren back to Shinjuku," Ryota said, his voice commanding. Without waiting for his father's response, he turned and walked away, leaving Isamu staring after him in silence. The strongest sorcerer of the modern era had spoken.
Later that Morning – Breakfast at the Dining Hall
Ren arrived at the dining hall, where Ryota and the rest of the group were already gathered. As he took his seat, he couldn't help but notice Isamu Takeda casting glances his way. There was something intense in the way Isamu watched him, though Ren tried to ignore it and focus on the conversation at hand.
After breakfast, the group moved to the training grounds. Ryota stood before them with Yuto by his side, a serious expression on his face.
"Today," Ryota announced, "I will reveal my potential unlocked form—Genta."
Ren and his friends exchanged curious glances. They had never seen Ryota fully transform before. As Ryota removed his goggles and closed his eyes, a vibrant green aura began to swirl around him. The energy was palpable, and the group took a step back, watching in awe as Ryota's transformation unfolded.
When the light finally dissipated, Ryota stood before them, his hair flowing upwards, his green eagle eyes glowing fiercely. His entire body radiated power. The air around him hummed with the energy of his Genta form.
