The battlefield had grown eerily quiet after the retreat of Tetsuya's forces. Ryota and his team stood amidst the rubble and debris, their breaths ragged, bodies worn from the intense combat. But they knew this was not the end; the ominous feeling hanging in the air told them as much.

Ryota's gaze swept over his students and colleagues. Their wounds were many—both physical and emotional—but the bonds they had reforged gave him hope. We've come this far, he thought, his determination solidifying. But this is far from over.

Suddenly, a low, rumbling sound echoed through the battlefield, shaking the ground beneath their feet. It was a sound so deep and powerful that it resonated in their bones, sending a chill down their spines.

"What... what is that?" Miyu whispered, her voice tinged with fear.

Before anyone could respond, the ground split open, and a massive, clawed hand emerged, grasping at the earth as if pulling itself up from the depths. The very air around them grew heavy with an ancient, malevolent power.

Tetsuya, standing atop a distant hill, watched with a crazed glint in his eyes. His laughter, loud and maniacal, filled the air. "Yes... YES! Arise, Titan of Desolation! Let the world tremble before your might!"

The hand, followed by another, heaved a colossal body out of the earth. The creature was gargantuan, easily towering over the tallest buildings. Its skin was rough and dark, like ancient stone, covered in scars and markings that pulsed with an eerie light. Its eyes burned like molten lava, and with each movement, the ground quaked.

The sorcerers could only stare in horror and awe as the beast finally stood to its full height, its head nearly touching the clouds. It let out a deafening roar, the force of it pushing everyone back several feet. This was not just a beast; it was a force of nature, a living cataclysm.

Ryohei Kamo, usually so composed, looked up at the creature with wide eyes. "This... this is too powerful for us," he muttered, disbelief coloring his voice. He was a master of elemental Mytho energy, capable of controlling the forces of nature itself, but even he felt dwarfed by the sheer presence of this monster.

The rest of the team felt the same dread. They had faced powerful enemies before, but nothing like this. Nothing that seemed so unstoppable.

Before despair could fully take hold, a voice called out from behind them. "So, it has finally been summoned... The Titan of Desolation."

They turned to see a new sorcerer approaching, their movements calm and assured despite the chaos around them. The newcomer was a tall, imposing figure, with long, dark hair that flowed down their back like a waterfall. Their eyes were a piercing silver, shining with an otherworldly light. Their attire was a mix of traditional and modern, a long coat that flared at the bottom with intricate patterns of ancient symbols.

"My name is Kyoko Amano," the sorcerer introduced herself, her voice steady but carrying the weight of someone who had seen many battles. "I specialize in sealing and containment. But even my skills are challenged by the likes of this beast."

"Kyoko," Ryota said, recognizing her name from old records. She was a legend in the sorcery world, known for sealing away some of the most dangerous curses and spirits. "You know of this creature?"

Kyoko nodded, her gaze fixed on the Titan, which was now beginning to advance toward them. "This is the Titan of Desolation, also known as Armagus. It's a beast of legend, said to be the embodiment of destruction itself. Its power is almost limitless—durability, strength, and an attack power that could lay waste to entire cities in a single blow."

"That's insane..." Ren muttered, his fists clenching as he looked up at the monstrous figure. "How do we even begin to fight something like that?"

Kyoko's expression darkened. "In the old legends, it's said that Armagus was sealed away by a coalition of the strongest sorcerers, sacrificing their lives to contain its fury. But if it's been unleashed now... then Tetsuya must have been planning this for years."

"Years..." Miyu echoed, horror dawning on her. "He's been planning to destroy everything?"

Tetsuya's laughter echoed across the battlefield again, drawing their attention back to him. He stood with his arms outstretched, as if basking in the power of the creature he had unleashed. "This world has been stagnant for too long!" he shouted, his voice filled with madness. "Now, it will be cleansed by fire and destruction! Armagus will bring about a new era—my era!"

The Titan took a step forward, its footfall shaking the ground violently. Trees toppled, and the earth cracked under the immense weight. It swung its massive arm, and with a single blow, it obliterated a section of the battlefield, sending debris flying in all directions.

Ryota's heart raced, his mind working frantically. He could feel the fatigue setting in, the toll of the continuous battles wearing on him despite his Eagle Eyes, which allowed him to maintain almost limitless stamina with minimal Mytho energy output. But even this was pushing him to his limits.

We can't fight this head-on, Ryota thought, frustration and anger bubbling to the surface. But we can't just stand by and let it destroy everything.

Ren, standing beside him, felt a similar mix of emotions. His earlier resolve to make amends with Miyu was now bolstered by a fierce determination to protect her, to protect all of them. "We can't let this thing win," he said, his voice filled with steely resolve.

Aiko, his usual playfulness gone, nodded. "We've faced impossible odds before. We'll just have to do it again."

Yumi, her exhaustion clear but her spirit unbroken, added, "We fight for those who can't. For those who need us."

Ryota looked at them, his students who had grown so much, who were now standing tall in the face of an unimaginable threat. He couldn't help but feel proud, even as the weight of leadership pressed down on him.

Nika stepped forward, her eyes locked on the Titan. She was calm, but Ryota could see the same determination in her that he felt. "We fight together," she said, her voice unwavering. "We've always been stronger together."

Kyoko, standing beside them, nodded in agreement. "The legends speak of Armagus' power, but they also speak of its weaknesses. If we can find a way to exploit those, we might stand a chance."

Tetsuya, still watching from afar, sneered at their resolve. "Foolish sorcerers. Your bonds mean nothing in the face of true power!"

The Titan of Desolation roared again, a sound that seemed to split the heavens. It raised its arm, preparing for another devastating attack.

Ryota clenched his fists, a spark of rage flashing across his face. This wasn't just about defeating Tetsuya anymore. This was about protecting the world, the people he cared about, the future they all fought for.

"We can't let this thing win," he said, his voice filled with determination. "I have a plan."

His words hung in the air, the weight of them sinking into his team's hearts. They didn't know what Ryota had in mind, but they trusted him. They always had.

The chapter ended on this cliffhanger, the sorcerers standing united against the monstrous threat, with the world's fate hanging in the balance. Tetsuya's laughter echoed in the background, but it was tinged with uncertainty now. He had unleashed the Titan, but whether it would truly bring about his victory was still to be determined.
