6 years later.............
The night was beautiful
Stars twinkled under the midnight sky, the moon illuminating the city that rested below. The fall season making the air chilly. The trees swaying along with the wind, the fresh scent of nature spread everywhere.
The wedding reception was perfect mix of nature and modern architecture. Jungkook couldn't help but snap pictures for his own consumption.
It was the night of Chanyeol and Baekhyun's wedding.
No one had expected them to be together in all honesty, considering how the two constantly bicker with each other. However, their love bloomed beautifully today in a grand ballroom. The newly weds feeding each other cake and giggling like lovestruck teenagers.
'This is disgustingly domestic jesus fuck'
Jungkook thought as he snapped pictures of the couple. Chanyeol had hired Jungkook as their photographer, which the younger gladly accepted. If only Jungkook knew how much cheesy shit he had to see all in one day, he would've prepared a //barf bag//.
Nonetheless, the photographer smiled softly at the couple from his camera lens. He knew how long Chanyeol had been waiting for this day, constantly pestering Baekhyun with his endless teasing and goofing.
The wedding had been huge. Chanyeol really went all out even though Baekhyun had protested, but what do you really expect from the Parks family?
Jungkook roamed around the reception, taking several photos of the guests and the venue itself. In the back of his mind, he was secretly looking for a certain someone. However, no matter how many pictures he took he couldn't spot them.
He had seen a glimpse by the altar, but he chickened out last minute. Instead, asked one of his camera crewmates to take photos by the altar while he went out to take drone shots of the venue. If Jungkook was being honest, a part of him yearned to see that rectangular smile again.
The first dance had started and Jungkook decided to take a 10-minute break and let his camera crew take over. Going out to the balcony he breathed in the fresh air, basking in the chilly gust of wind. The smell of wood was faint but pleasant.
Jungkook reached inside his suit pants, pulling out a cigarette pack and started smoking as he looked over the city that was miles away. Resting his forearms on the railing, letting his camera hang loosely on his neck.
"You still smoke?"
A voice all too familiar spoke out, startling Jungkook a bit. He turned around and there he was.
