"Uh- m-may I ask why it has to be that far away Chanyeol-ssi??" Baekhyun questioned, clearly taken aback by the sudden request. Subtly sending a are you fucking serious? glare his way.
"They just make coffee different there, and also because I said so~" Chanyeol responded, face completely relaxed. Clearly reveling in the intern's misery, a little too much in Jungkook's opinion.
Jungkook felt like a fly in the wall, not knowing what he had just witnessed as the intern left with a bow and a mumbled 'right away...chanyeol-ssi'.
"I'm guessing you're having quite a bit of fun with your little boy toy" Jungkook started, as they were finally alone in his office.
Chanyeol's smile never wavered as he tidied up his desk.
"That my friend is what you call a proper payback." The latter sighed contently, as if he were the happiest man in the world.
"What did he do?" Jungkook asked, curious.
"He scratched my //Mercedes// trying to park his car, not only that but he somehow managed to pour 3 cups of coffee on me and had the gull to ask me to pay for them not knowing I was his boss." The COO said as he looked through some of his papers.
"Well, shit..." Jungkook commented.
They both sat there, bickering, and catching up with what's been happening. Jungkook omitting the biggest event of them all. He decided to keep it from the giant, considering the fact that the two worked together.
As they talked, Jungkook had remembered something he wanted to ask for weeks now.
"Hey, Chan, do you know anyone named Jung Seoyoon? I heard they worked here" The photographer casually asked.
Chanyeol thought for a bit, hands on his chin. The name was familiar, and it suddenly came to him.
"Oh! isn't that Taehyung's new assistant?" he answered.
Jungkook visibly gulped, the new information choking his throat. Barely holding himself together, trying his best to shoo off his mean thoughts and the vivid images that followed.
"Assistant? What happened to Kyungsoo?" Jungkook asked, wondering to himself exactly how much has Taehyung been hiding from him.
Kyungsoo was Taehyung's assistant for so long, he always knew what the CEO wanted from him. He was even considered as family to the Kims and Jungkook. The photographer was sure that he would stay for a long time. Although he had a default stoic expression, he loved his job very much, so it didn't make sense that he would quit out of the blue.
"I don't know honestly, Kyungsoo hadn't come in for a few days and I assumed he was sick. Then one day I saw a new girl filing for Taehyung. It confused me a bit since I saw her prior to that, but she was training with other interns. I assumed Taehyung must've liked her work ethic that's why she was given a high position. But, in all honesty her paperwork is sloppy... Anyway, why do you ask? Didn't Taehyung tell you?" Chanyeol rambled. Staring off into air as he thought about it more.
"Oh-... he did, he just never went in depth..." He lied, not wanting to out Taehyung's dishonesty.
