Beomgyu's eyes narrowed as he got blinded by the setting sun, that was reflecting off of the big windows of the hospital.
Kai had told him to visit it, but Beomgyu hadn't planned to really show up.He had been walking around all day.
It felt like, he had seen every possible corner of this city and still somehow ended up right in front of the hospital, after trying to avoid it the whole day.
He knew as soon as he would stay in front of it, there would be no going back.
He was way to curious to turn around now. When he stepped inside, the smell of disinfectant and silicone gloves immediately surrounded him.
The white and bright light made him uncomfortable and somehow made his head hurt again.
As he walked up to the reception, a woman looked up at him.
She had her hair tied into a low bun and was wearing a pastel yellow colored cardigan over their white uniform. She scanned his face, looked down onto her computer screen and started clicking on some random tabs.
„We have no doctor available right now.
Please take a seat in the waiting room."
Beomgyu tilted his head in confusion, until he remembered, that he probably looked like a patient himself.„I actually wanted to ask where room A207 is...?" A207 was the only thing Kai had added to his random "advice", before Beomgyu got to leave their base.
Beomgyu just assumed that it was a room number.
The woman looked at him again and narrowed her eyebrows.
„A207? Ah, you were part of it as well?"
She scanned him up and down, before she mumbled another few words under her breath.„I should've known.
What's wrong with teenagers these days?"
Beomgyu would've loved to show her what was wrong with him and that her generation was the one, that made him end up like this, but that sadly wouldn't help him find room A207 in a hospital with over 600 rooms.„Third floor on the right side.
You will be able to read the numbers, right?"
Beomgyu pressed his lips together and took a deep breath, before he would end up saying something even more impolite than her.
He gave her a forced smile, pushed down the business card holder that stood on top of the counter and then made his way up to the room.
He really had no patience for people like that. Especially not on a day like this. The hallway was full of people who were either visiting their loved ones or patients who took a walk over the whole floor, just to get back to their room again.
He pushed himself past a doctor looking through some documents in the middle of the hallway, making it hard for everyone else to pass him. When he finally reached room A207, he looked through the small window right into it.
Most of the beds were surrounded by curtains, providing at least a bit of privacy for the patients.
When the door was opened by another nurse in a yellow cardigan, he finally got to hear the muffled voices behind it.The nurse gave him a confused look as she walked past him, leaving the door open behind her. Beomgyu hesitantly stepped inside, scanned one of the empty beds right at the front and then walked a bit further into the room, the voices getting clearer, the closer he got.
„Argh, fuck... How did we end up like this?
We almost had him."Beomgyu's feet were suddenly glued to the ground.
„You should've killed him with the first hit.
That bastard was just lucky, you were too stupid."
Beomgyu swallowed.
He had recognized their voices, as soon as he got to hear them clearly.
„I wasn't too stupid, he was just lucky these two guys helped him.
Why the fuck, did they had to get involved anyways?"
