„The other's are now looking at the hospitals..."
Kai walked up to Herin.
The phone in his hand, after he just had finished talking to Taehyun.
Herin hadn't left his apartment since the incident a few days ago.
She just sat on his couch, stared at the wall in front of her and waited that the day's passed.

Kai had searched through every online article and every newspaper, trying to find some information about a murdered university professor, but the only thing he had found, was an article about the fire that night.
Not even an article about an injured person.
Herin knew he felt bad that he came too late, but it wasn't his fault.
Yet, he tried to make up for it, searching for her professor and get him arrested instead...
If he was still alive.

Herin turned her head to him.
Her legs were drawn to her chest and her arms wrapped around it.
„And you really can't remember his name or his face?"
She slowly shook her head.

Herin tried to.
She tried more than anything, but everything was blurry.
His face, his name.
She couldn't remember.
All he was, was a blurry memory.
A no name.
Yet, she remembered what the man had done to her and what he had tried to do.
The face just wasn't there.

„I need to go back to the ba-"
Kai stopped himself.
Herin still didn't knew about his actual job and just thought he was working at a company.
„I need to go back to the company. There is some food on the stove so eat something."
He waited for an answer, but Herin stayed quiet.

„I probably will be home late. Just so you know."
She nodded and he copied her.
Then Kai grabbed his jacket and left.

...

It was almost like she could still see how the flames broke through the big windows.
The soot was all over the brick walls, coloring them in a black instead of their usual redish brown. Herin couldn't turn away from it, because the last time she did, she got thrown to the ground and almost killed.

„Sorry."
Someone mumbled after he had bumped into her and brought Herin back to reality.
She looked after him, but it was just another bored and tired student.
Herin tried to swallow the lump in her throat, pulled down the cap and readjusted her mask.

Her hands were hidden in the inside of a black zipper.
All of it stolen out of Kai's closet, now that he had left for work.
She couldn't sit at home and do nothing.
Not anymore.
If no one knew about the dead professor yet, that must have meant that they were either extremely good in covering it up or he wasn't actually dead and Herin needed to find out what happened.

She watched as another small group of students left the university and she finally managed to move forward, grabbing the handle of the door right before it was about to fall shut again.
She obviously wouldn't find any information in the burned down art room or the hallway, so her first stop was his office.

As she entered the hallway in question, she even smelled the burned down walls, doors, desks, anything that had been inside of the art room.
His office was just down the hall, sadly untouched as it had been too far away from the fire.
