Chapter 28

With Zhan and Yibo....

They soon reached to a seperate tent were no one was present. It was like a store room but the place was enough to take some rest as there just at the side was a huge sofa present.

Zhan carefully put Yibo there and settle beside him.

"Are you really fine ge.. " Zhan asked again as he caressed Yibo cheeks. He took out his kerchief from his side pocket and started clean the dust from Yibo's forehead. His gege look so haphazard yet still beautiful. Zhan can see those eyes we're so much tired and sighed...

"You didn't kept your promise.. " Zhan frowned. He can see that Yibo didn't take care of himself at all.

Yibo chuckled at that and leaned on Zhan putting his head on his shoulder.

"I am fine really! Just a little hungry... " He mummbled. At that Zhan raised his brow and took out his own radio before asking Yibo.

"When was the last time you ate.. " For the answer Yibo just smile sheepishly as how can he say that the whole day he didn't ate anything. But seems like Zhan didn't need any answer as his frown deepen just looking that tired smile of Yibo.

Soon a knock was heard and a soldier entered after Zhan gave him permission.

"Sir!... " The soldier salute and Zhan nodded. The soldier soon gave a package of some cheese bread to Zhan.

Zhan frowned again when he saw that. Yet he kept his face neutral when he turned to Yibo after dismissing the soldier.

"I hope this is enough.. " Zhan said he sounds a little dejected. But Yibo smile brightly and took it from him sitting straight..

"It's too much how can I eat alone... " Yibo dramatically said as he tried to break the bread in to half to share with Zhan but of course Zhan stopped him and strictly glared at him as if telling him to eat it whole, which made him pout .

After making sure that his gege has eaten the whole bread. He told Yibo to have some rest and of course he doesn't want any argument at that and yeh! Yibo has to agree because of this too much stubborn officer hmph!

Zhan after making sure that Yibo has slept he bent down and kissed Yibo's forehead. His eyes soften with pain as he looked at his gege.

Only he knows how broken he felt when he saw the news with his own eyes. After the mission completed both Zhan and Xuan were in a restaurant taking break . They have just completed their lunch when they saw the news on tv and it will be lie to say that the whole time while coming here Zhan didn't felt like dying already.

He was worried.. he was hell of worried for his gege, the only hope in his life. The thought of something happening to him cause an extreme amount of dread in Zhan.

It was only when he saw his gege with his own two eyes that he felt like breathing again.

He took deep and when making sure, his gege is comfortable enough he went outside.

He searched for Xuan and Haikuan and soon found them near discussing something.

"What happened?... " He interrupted a she went to them. Both of them turned to him and sighed.

"We don't have much ration left... " Xuan answered worriedly.

"How long we can feed everyone with the remaining... " Zhan asked further.

"It can only last for one more day Zhan . Most of the commodities become damaged due to this disaster... " Kuan answered sighing as he really don't know what they should do now. The situation is becoming more worse.
