"Gotham City, Wayne Manor"

"I want to go home." It had been sometime since you have been patched up, so you had thought it was the best time to break the knews to everyone. "But you are home." Jason states as he crosses his arms over his chest—his face showing a look of confusion. You shake your head at his statement, "No I mean home as in Detroit." The faces of the others twist into a mixture of expressions. Tim's defined brows deeply furrowed at the new told knews, "You can't just leave, there are still so much stuff we have  to do. Tons of places we haven't shown you yet." Tim Stands from his once seated position.

"No offense Timothy, but you can't expect me to want to stay after what happened tonight." You say gesturing to your bandaged shoulder. Tim goes to argue but stops himself—knowing he wasn't going to win.

"I've been through so much in less than two months of living here than I ever did back in Detroit." You distance yourself from the rest and go to stand in the middle of the cave. "And look at this—." You gesture to the cave as a whole. "When were you all going to mention that you all were apart of some weird ass vigilante group?"

"I'm tired, and i genuinely fear for my life now." You tried to keep your voice as steady as possible, but your anger was slowly starting to take over. "You all can't expect me to want to stay knowing what just happened, I nearly died! Hell April could be dead right now, and that's all my fault!" Your voice cracked as you spoke; your tears finally falling.

"If I hadn't started making a run for the exit she wouldn't have gotten shot. She wouldn't be possibly paralyzed for the rest of her life, or worst dead." The image of Juniper cradling Aprils body flashed in your mind—the sound of Junipers sobs echoing through your ears.

"Y/n what happened to your friend is not your fault." Bruce starts as he rests his hands on your shoulders. You snatch your body away from his hold however; wrapping your arms tightly around yourself.

"But it is. I was so scared that I wasn't even thinking about what could have happened if we ran." You stared at the floor as your tears fell onto the floor. You didn't know how much your eyes could take with the constant crying. You had the feeling you were going to run out eventually, and result to dryly sobbing.

"You're stupid." Your head snaps towards the voice of the person who insulted you. Damian still leaned against the Bat-computer; his arms still crossed.

"What—." You're cut off by him holding his hand up, signaling you to stop speaking.

"You're stupid to think what happened to your friend is your fault." He continues as he stares at you intensely. "If anything it's our fault, we should have gotten you all out of there quicker." "I should have told you that I didn't want you to leave when you came and spoke to me, but I pushed you away." He moves from his spot and walks towards you; you couldn't really get the best look of his face due to him still wearing his mask.

"So if you want to point the blame at anyone it should be me. I got your friend shot—I got you shot." He now stood in front of you, with him being slightly shorter you had to tilt your head down to really get a look at him.

"I'm sorry I didn't say anything sooner. And I'm sorry that I didn't save your friend, or you." But could you please forgive me?" He had now removed his mask, revealing his tear stained face; with new ones threatening to fall.

The gesture was a shock to everyone in the room especially you, since you greatly l believed that Damian hated you. You couldn't muster any words as you stared at the youngest Wayne.

However you slowly remove your arms from yourself and begin to wrap them around your brother. Trying to let your embrace speak the words that your mouth couldn't form.

Damian was rigged and hesitant to hug you back, not being used to the physical contact. But he did eventually wrap his arms around you; tightly grabbing onto your tank top.

"I'm sorry."
