Society

In a Society there needs to be structure. You can't just put characters in a house and that's it. You need a form of society to build on your world that the characters will live in.

In a society I believe you need a form of government for it to work. Not every story you make needs to have the same Society but it might be easier for that.

For Mama's boy the Government is very controlling and structured a certain way. Everyone has a job and a designated category, your either a Little, Sub, Dom, mommy/daddy or Neutral. The government doesn't allow you to be anything else.

For Under his protection the government is very corrupt and overlooks ALOT of criminal activity including the Kidnapping of Daniel.

So Quin can do a lot of things in the open and not get arrested but Emily has to be careful or else she could get caught and risks not just losing her littles and Damon but also Risks her life. She will die if she is caught guilty of murder, kidnap and assault. Though ofc Emily has good reasons, the government wouldn't see it that way and would kill her.

To build up your society think about if you want it to be a strict or layed back society. Think about its history.

Was it always like this
If not what was it like back then
Why did it change

If it was always like this then how did it become like that, did it pass through a family line or was power just given at random.

Of you can have anarchy where there is no government and its very purge like so be realistic because in anarchy it's basically like the purge. In a strict society there will be rebelling but it will be quiet and secretive. In a looser society, criminal activity will be more open.

Your society will change your characters lifestyles. So choose wisely. I would recommend making then more realistic to make your book more real but it's up to you.

Hope this helps. Stay safe and happy writing.
