Amethyst

By the time we got back to the castle, it was nearly dinner. We headed to the common room and put away the things we bought.

"That butterbeer was priceless." Pansy smiled. I smiled as well, putting away my jewelry, keeping my pentagram necklace on. The air was colder so I showered with luke-warm water. It bothered me but was manageable.

I didn't want to freeze, so I put on a pair of sweat-pants and an old jumper.

After I got into my pajamas, me and Pansy went down to the common room and met up with my brothers and the rest of their friends.

On the way to the Great Hall, I saw Harry and his friends talking about Hogsmead. I guess he didn't go because they were telling him all about it. I was more behind the group, so I stepped away for a moment. I walked up to the trio and smiled.

"Hi, Harry. Ron, Hermione." They all looked at me with a smile, Ron still looking surprised. "Hey, uh, Amethyst? Right?" Harry asked. I nodded.

"All I was going to ask is if you came to Hogsmead. I didn't see you."
"Uh, oh, I didn't go. I didn't have the permission slip signed."
"Oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't know."
"It's fine."

Hermione looked wary about my presence, but she didn't say anything. She soon broke the silence.

"If you're going to make fun of him, get over with it?"
"What?"
"Hermione, she's not like that!"
"She's a Slytherin, of course she is."
"I'm really not. I don't care about things like that. It's just my brothers mostly."

She looked confused but still on guard. "Look, you don't have to believe me, I'm just trying to make it clear I don't have anything against any other blood statuses." She only nodded.

Then, 'dumb and dumber' started walking towards us, yelling something. "Well what do we have here? Potter and his little followers." Tom came up to us and put his arm around my shoulder.

"Little sister, I see you've met the mudblood." Theo spoke with a teasing voice. I snapped towards him and grabbed him by the hair, dragging his head down. Tom immediately tried to loosen my grip, but it didn't falter. "Apologize, Now Mattheo."

He only struggled, trying to get my hand off of his hair. I tightened it when he kept muttering something about muggles.
"Fine, I'm sorry, Granger."

I let go of his hair, kind of throwing head and slapped him in the back of the head. "Go wait for me in the hall. Now." I turned away from him, leaving no room for argument.

Once they left, I sighed. "I'm sorry. I can't control what comes out of their mouths but I'll make sure it doesn't happen again."

She nodded, stunned by the scene that just took place. Even Ron and Harry looked surprised. "Oh, and Ron, tell your brothers I say yes."

With that, I walked away and into the hall. There sat the two idiots, Theo still complaining. I sat next to Pansy and she snickered. "I didn't know you had something against the word mudblood." She only smirked, I rolled my eyes and ran my finger through my hair.

"The next time I have to do that, Theo, I'll cut your dick off. Understand?" I looked at my twin brother through glaring eyes. He only nodded and pouted.

I looked back at the food and felt disgusted with it, not wanting to eat. Tom put a plate in front of me with little food,"Eat something." I nodded and picked up my fork, pushing around the food. Finally after a few minutes, I started eating some of it, leaving half the food still on there.

We walked back to the commom room and on one of the couches near the fireplace. I sat next to Tom and leaned my head on his shoulder, staring off into space.
