Shubman and his family were on their way to Manali, the excitement of the trip buzzing through the car. Sara had joined them, sitting in the front seat beside Shubman, who was focused on the road. The gentle hum of the engine mixed with the light-hearted chatter coming from the backseat, where Shahneel, Lakhwinder, and Keart were comfortably settled.

The drive had been peaceful so far, with the mountain roads winding gently as the landscape began to change, offering breathtaking views of lush greenery and misty peaks in the distance. Sara glanced over at Shubman, watching him drive with a calm focus, his hands steady on the steering wheel.

"You're a good driver," she commented softly, breaking the silence between them.

Shubman flashed her a quick smile. "Thanks. I have to be, with this lot in the back," he teased, glancing in the rearview mirror at Shahneel, who was already scrolling through her phone, probably planning something mischievous.

"I heard that!" Shahneel called from the back, smirking as she leaned forward between the front seats. "You better drive safe, Shub. I don't trust you on these hills."

Shubman rolled his eyes playfully. "Don't worry, Shahneel, I've got this under control. Besides, I've got an important passenger up here with me," he added, sneaking a glance at Sara, who smiled but looked away shyly.

Keart, enjoying the sibling banter, chimed in, "Now, now, no fighting, you two. Shubman's doing a fine job, and Shahneel, you'll get your turn to tease him later."

Lakhwinder, who had been quietly looking out at the scenery, turned to Keart with a chuckle. "Ah, let them be. This is how they always are. Besides, the more they argue, the faster the trip goes."

The car was filled with laughter, the playful mood contagious. Sara couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth and belonging in the midst of it all. She leaned back in her seat, enjoying the light breeze coming through the window as they ascended higher into the mountains.

Shubman caught her gaze for a moment before returning his focus to the road. "So, Sara, ready for some mountain adventures?"

Sara nodded, her excitement growing. "Definitely. I've been looking forward to this trip."

"Good," Shubman said, his voice dropping to a quieter tone, meant just for her. "It'll be fun...especially now that you're here."

A flutter of warmth passed through Sara at his words, and she turned to look out the window, smiling to herself. She wasn't sure what was happening between them, but in this moment, it felt right.

As the car continued winding its way through the mountains, the chatter in the backseat gradually faded. Keart, Lakhwinder, and Shahneel had all drifted off into a peaceful slumber, their heads resting comfortably against the windows and each other. The soft sounds of their breathing filled the car, leaving Shubman and Sara in a quiet bubble of their own.
