Ayato's POV
It is 12:00 in the noontime, where I went to the infirmary once more, to check upon my sister, after my last resort to Ajiro, who ruined her physically and mentally. Good thing I did my decisions, because without it, I would be more broken as like I turned into the devil itself. But, let's not get prophetic nor religious on that, for I would have gone more insane as ever.
"Hey nurse!, how's Kasumi? Is she okay now?", I asked,
"Yes, she's definetely fine. We have been feeding her some good food to keep her healthy and the operation upon her, is successful. You can now visit her, sir Agent A.", the nurse responded, which then after, I sat down beside my sister's bed. I caressed her hair, to remind of how she used to do that to me in bedtime, kinda like my moms.
And then she woke up instantly and was shocked at my presence.
"A-ayato? W-why are you here, I-i thought...I-i thought..." she stuttered because of the whole confusion she had,
"Shhh...don't worry sis...I'm here to apologize wholeheartedly for what I did to you last night...like, I was caught up on my revenge upon the scandal you were in...I'm sorry that I almost hurt you..." I hugged her so tight on which she embraced it and cried on my shoulder,
"I'm also sorry Ayato-kun...I'm s-sorry..." Kasumi said while crying, which then left some tears on my eye, to see her alive and well.
We embraced ourselves for a couple of minutes, because I was so emotional on how I would repay this to her. Instead of killing her merciless, I just decided to give her one more chance at her redemption also. And thank the heavens, it was right to let her go and just move on, although it has been weeks since she did this to me.
*Few minutes later*
"So...you're now a captain, Ayato, or should I call you, Agent A too? hehehe" She giggled which I laughed at her little joke.
"Hahaha, jokes aside, yes, I'm actually a captain, and I've changed, physically and mentally. Although that experiment was an excruciating pain I endured." I said,
"Oh, glad you make it alive and not only you got older but you became um...m-muscular..." she blushed at the sight of my body changes which I blushed back on that,
"S-sis! Stop it ok! Anyways, the nurse said you will be discharged tomorrow, since the technology that is used to cure you, makes it more quick and efficient. Just eat very well, and stay calm, because, your brother is here to take care of you, always..." I hugged her again which then she said,
"Thank you Ayato, for forgiving your dear sister..." That made me smile gently at what she said to me.
*Few hours later*
Narrator's POV
We now see Ayato, going to the garden area outside of the headquarters, and sat on the bench for some relaxation with ease. Then, Agent H aka Hiroki, stepped in and sat beside him to talk about something.
"So, you're mission was successful, Agent A, proud of ya!" They shook hands on that, and then Hiroki continued,
"But let's get more serious on that, how does it feel? Hmm? Is it gory or you felt bad on that?" he asked,
