"Okay, Kaitlyn, you see this game controller?" Clint said, holding up a game controller. I nod my head. I was sitting on the living room floor with my legs crossed. "I want you to try to move it with your mind. Think you can do that?"

I nod my head once more and close my eyes. I try my best to move the controller. It moves slightly, only for it to stop. I sigh and look up at Clint. "I can't do it."

"It's okay, it's okay. Just try to concentrate. You can do it." Clint said. I closed my eyes again, and as I tried to concentrate on the controller, it started to float in the air. Clint smiles. "There you go. You got it! That was so great! I think you're getting stronger."

Just then, Laura, Clint's wife, walks into the room. "All right, you two. It's time for lunch. I just made some sandwiches."

"Yay!" I cheered, jumping to my feet. Clint wrapped his arms around me, picked me up, and held me in the air, pretending to fly me into the kitchen.

The scene pans to Laura, Clint, a young Cooper, and Lila and I enjoying lunch together and laughing.

The next day, I woke up with a throbbing headache. I was lying on a soft bed in the infirmary while a nurse was checking my vitals. As I was slowly coming to my senses, I realized I was back on the Helicarrier, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s main base. The nurse explained to me that I suffered from a mild concussion, but it wasn't too serious, and I should be fine within a couple of days. The room to the infirmary opens, and a young, pretty woman with short red hair enters. She was holding a juice box and a file in her hands.

"Nat!" I smiled.

"Hi, Kat. I heard what happened. How are you feeling?" Natasha Romanoff asked me. She sits in a chair next to my bed and hands me the juice box.

"My head hurts. But Nurse Jill said it's a mild concussion." I said. Natasha looks at Nurse Jill.

"She should be fine within a couple of days. I gave her some medicine to help with the pain." Nurse Jill explained to Natasha.

"Thanks, Jill. You're the best as always." Natasha smiled.

"And don't you forget it. I have to run some tests. Hollar if you need anything." Nurse Jill said before leaving the room.

"Will do."

"Thank you, Nurse Jill," I said. I noticed the file in Natasha's hand. "What's with the file?"

"Fury wanted me to show you this. It's a list of people he's recruiting to help find the Tesseract and oversee any dangerous situations that should arise in the future." Natasha said. She handed me the file, and as I looked over the papers, my eyes widened with pure excitement.
