After the peace treaty was signed, the King of the North Kingdom invited Princess Samridhi and Prince Raj to his palace to honor their bravery and diplomacy.
The King, surrounded by his courtiers and advisors, praised Samridhi and Raj for their selfless efforts to bring peace to the realm.
"Your bravery and determination have saved countless lives and prevented further destruction," the King said, his voice filled with gratitude. "You have shown that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope for peace and unity."
The King then bestowed upon Samridhi and Raj the highest honors in the land. He awarded Samridhi the "Order of the Golden Sun" and Raj the "Order of the Brave Heart". The court erupted in applause as Samridhi and Raj accepted their rewards, their faces beaming with pride.
As they left the palace, Samridhi turned to Raj and smiled. "We make a good team, don't we?" she said.
Raj smiled back. "We certainly do. Let us hope that our actions will inspire others to follow in our footsteps and work towards a more peaceful future."
And so, Samridhi and Raj returned to their respective kingdoms, hailed as heroes and champions of peace. Their friendship and alliance had changed the course of history, and they knew that their bond would last a lifetime.
After the award ceremony, the King and Queen of the North Kingdom and the King and Queen of the East Kingdom met privately in a chamber.
"We need to discuss the engagement between Siddharth and Samridhi," said the King of the North Kingdom.
"Yes, now that the war is over, we should reconsider their union," added the Queen of the East Kingdom.
"Let's call them in and discuss it with them," suggested the King of the East Kingdom.
The monarchs nodded in agreement and summoned Prince Siddharth and Princess Samridhi to the chamber.
Once they arrived, the King of the North Kingdom began, "We've been thinking... now that the war is over, we should reconsider your engagement. We want to know your thoughts on the matter."
Prince Siddharth and Princess Samridhi exchanged a glance, their expressions thoughtful.
"I have developed feelings for Samridhi," Prince Siddharth said. "But I want to make sure she feels the same way."
Princess Samridhi nodded. "I, too, have developed feelings for Siddharth. But I want to make it clear that I will not be forced into a union. I want to choose my own path."
The monarchs looked at each other, surprised by their honesty.
"We understand," said the Queen of the East Kingdom."We want you both to be happy. If you're willing, we can announce your union at the grand ball celebrating Prince Siddharth's birthday, but only if you're certain it's what you both want."
Prince Siddharth and Princess Samridhi looked at each other, then back at the monarchs.
"We'll think about it," Prince Siddharth said."But we need time to consider our feelings and what's best for us."
The monarchs nodded, understanding their perspective."Take all the time you need. We'll support your decision, whatever it may be."
Prince Siddharth and Princess Samridhi left the chamber, strolling through the palace corridors until they reached the serene royal garden. The scent of blooming flowers and the soft chirping of birds filled the air as they walked hand in hand.
"I'm glad we're out of there," Prince Siddharth said, breaking the silence."I feel like we can finally breathe."
Princess Samridhi smiled. "I know what you mean. I had almost forgotten about our engagement."
Prince Siddharth chuckled."Me too. But now that it's been brought up again, I have to admit... I don't mind the idea of marrying you, Samridhi."
Princess Samridhi's eyes sparkled with surprise."Really? I have to admit, I don't mind either. You're not as bad as I thought you'd be."
Prince Siddharth laughed. "Thanks, I think."
As they walked further into the garden, they began to open up to each other, sharing their hopes and dreams. The more they talked, the more they realized that they had more in common than they thought.
"You know, marriage life with you won't be too bad after all," Princess Samridhi said with a smile.
Prince Siddharth grinned. "I'm glad you think so. I promise to make you happy, Samridhi."
And with that, they shared their first tender moment, the royal garden witnessing the blossoming of their love._______________________________________________________________
