The next two days flew by in a whirlwind of activity, with Samridhi and Prince Siddharth attending various functions and ceremonies. But finally, the day arrived when Samridhi would leave for the Academy, accompanied only by Lily as her personal maid.

As they arrived at the Academy, Samridhi was greeted by familiar faces - Sonalika Rajput and Raj Chouhan, whom she had met at the ball. They were friendly and welcoming, but Samridhi's eyes widened in shock as she saw Prince Siddharth standing behind them.

"What is he doing here?" Samridhi whispered to Lily, her heart racing.
Lily shrugged. "I don't know, Princess. But maybe it's a coincidence?"

Samridhi's mind was reeling. She hadn't expected to see Prince Siddharth here, especially since their engagement hadn't been officially announced yet. She hadn't intended to tell anyone about it, at least not until they were a bit older and the engagement was formalized.

Sonalika and Raj approached her, smiling. "Samridhi, it's so great to see you again!" Sonalika exclaimed.

Samridhi forced a smile, trying to play it cool. "Hey, guys. What's up?"

But her eyes kept drifting back to Prince Siddharth, who was watching her with an unreadable expression. What was he doing here? And why did he look so... intense?

"Let's get settled in," Raj suggested. "We have a lot to catch up on."

As they walked towards their dormitory, Samridhi couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. This was not how she had planned her time at the Academy. And what did Prince Siddharth's presence here mean for their engagement - and their future?

As Samridhi entered the room, Sophia looked up from her book and smiled. "Hey, Samridhi! It's so great to see you again."

Samridhi smiled back, feeling a sense of relief at seeing her friend. "Hey, Sophia. How's it going?"

Sophia shrugged. "It's going. Just trying to get settled in. How about you?"

Samridhi sat down on the bed next to Sophia. "I'm good. Just a bit overwhelmed, I guess. This is all so new."

Sophia nodded sympathetically. "I know what you mean. I felt the same way last year. But it gets easier, I promise."

Just then, there was a knock at the door. Samridhi got up to answer it, expecting it to be one of their classmates or maybe a teacher. But to her surprise, it was Prince Siddharth standing in the hallway, a small smile playing on his lips.

"Siddharth, what are you doing here?" Samridhi asked, trying to sound calm despite her growing unease.

"I was just in the neighborhood and thought I'd drop by," Prince Siddharth said, his eyes sparkling with amusement.

Samridhi raised an eyebrow. "In the neighborhood? You're a prince, Siddharth. You don't just 'drop by' places."

Siddharth chuckled. "Well, I wanted to see how you're settling in. And I have to say, I'm impressed. You look like you're taking to Academy life like a fish to water."

Samridhi rolled her eyes. "Yeah, right. I'm just trying to survive."

Sophia spoke up from the bed. "Hey, Siddharth, come on in. We were just chatting."
