Princess Samridhi turned to Amrita and Mr. Pal as they drove away from the hospital site. "I'd like to visit the forest areas next, to see how the people are living there. It's close to Ashwood, so I'd like Sophia to accompany me."

Amrita nodded. "I'll arrange for Sophia to meet us at the forest entrance, Princess. And, of course, Rohan will be with us for security."

As they arrived at the forest entrance, Sophia was already waiting for them, dressed in a simple but practical outfit. "Princess Samridhi, I'm glad you asked me to join you. I've been wanting to explore these forest areas myself."

Princess Samridhi smiled. "I'm glad you could come, Sophia. Let's go see how the people are living here."

With Rohan leading the way, they walked into the forest, following a narrow path that wound between the trees. As they walked, the sounds of the forest grew louder - birds chirping, leaves rustling, and the distant call of a wild animal.

After about 20 minutes of walking, they came across a small clearing, where a group of people were living in simple huts made of natural materials. Princess Samridhi's eyes widened as she took in the scene.

"Welcome, Princess," one of the villagers said, bowing low. "We don't often get visitors here."

Princess Samridhi smiled warmly. "Thank you for welcoming me. I wanted to see how you're living here, and if there's anything I can do to help."

The villager nodded. "We're managing, Princess. But it's not always easy. We struggle to find enough food and clean water."

Sophia stepped forward. "I'd like to help with that, if I can. I've studied herbalism and know which plants are safe to eat."

Princess Samridhi nodded. "That's a great idea, Sophia. Let's see what we can do to help."

Just as Princess Samridhi was about to speak with the villager, a loud noise echoed through the forest, making everyone turn their heads.

"What's that?" Sophia asked, concern etched on her face.

Rohan immediately sprang into action. "I'll go check it out, Princess."

He returned a few minutes later, looking serious. "Princess, it seems that some trees are being cut down for business purposes. The villagers around here are protesting against it, as they believe the trees are sacred."

Princess Samridhi's eyes widened in surprise. "Sacred? What do you mean?"

Rohan explained, "The villagers believe that the trees are inhabited by gods and goddesses, and cutting them down would anger the deities and bring harm to the community."

Sophia nodded thoughtfully. "I've heard of such beliefs before. Some ancient cultures believed that trees held spiritual significance."

Princess Samridhi's expression turned determined. "I need to see this for myself. Let's go."

As they approached the area where the trees were being cut, the noise grew louder and the protests more intense. Villagers were standing in front of the trees, holding hands and chanting prayers.

Princess Samridhi dismounted her horse and approached the villagers. "What's going on here? Why are you protesting?"

One of the villagers stepped forward, his eyes pleading. "Please, Princess, stop them from cutting down our gods. We can't let them destroy our sacred trees."
