___________________________________________As they neared the Village of Festivals, the group sensed unease.
Samriddhi's instincts screamed warning.
Siddharth and Lily flanked her, eyes scanning the woods.
Shiva walked ahead, his pace steady.
Suddenly, assassins emerged from the shadows.
Their swords clashed in the darkness.
The group fought back, formation tight.
Shiva's skills blended seamlessly with theirs.
But Siddharth and Lily watched him closely.
Their trust remained fragile.
The battle raged on, the woods echoing with steel.
Samriddhi fought with precision, her focus on the enemy.
Shiva's movements seemed fluid, yet...
Siddharth caught a glimpse of something in Shiva's eyes.
A flicker of intent, quickly masked.
Lily noticed Siddharth's tension.
"What is it?" she mouthed.
Siddharth's gaze never left Shiva.
"Keep watching him," he whispered.
The fight intensified, the group surrounded.
The battle raged on, swords clashing in the darkness.
Siddharth grunted, a cut slicing across his back.
A bullet tore through his shoulder, but he fought on.
Lily rushed to his side, her eyes blazing.
Samriddhi fought relentlessly, her sword slicing through the chaos.
Shiva's skills seemed almost supernatural.
But Siddharth and Lily exchanged a cautious glance.
Their trust in Shiva wavered.
Just as they gained ground, Shiva stepped back.
His gaze locked onto a figure in the shadows.
A brief, cryptic conversation ensued.
Assassins poured from the shadows, reinforcing their numbers.
Siddharth's unease grew.
"Shiva, what's going on?" Siddharth asked.
Shiva's expression turned neutral.
"Just coordinating our defense," Shiva replied.
Lily's eyes narrowed.
Samriddhi remained focused on the battle.
Siddharth's doubts lingered.
Was Shiva truly on their side?
Amidst the chaos, Samriddhi fought alongside Siddharth and Lily.
Shiva stood nearby, his sword slicing through assassins.
Samriddhi whispered to Siddharth and Lily in the ancient language of the East Kingdom, "Astra kali sakshi, kavacha dhara."
Siddharth replied, "Vishwa vijayi, chakra vyuh."
Lily added, "Nabha sparsha, agni shikha."
Shiva remained oblivious, focused on the battle.
Their coded conversation, in the ancient tongue known only to East Kingdom royals, went unnoticed.
"Astra kali sakshi" meant "Danger lurks nearby."
"Kavacha dhara" meant "Uncover hidden truth."
"Vishwa vijayi" meant "Conquer fear and doubt."
"Chakra vyuh" meant "Form a strategic alliance."
"Nabha sparsha" meant "Touch the heart of the enemy."
"Agni shikha" meant "Ignite the spark of courage."
Samriddhi nodded to Siddharth and Lily.
Their understanding was clear.
As the battle subsided, Samriddhi rushed to Siddharth's side.
His shoulder wound gaped open, bleeding profusely.
Samriddhi's hands moved swiftly, tearing fabric for bandages.
"Let me," she said softly.
Siddharth winced, but trusted her touch.
With gentle care, Samriddhi cleaned and dressed the wound.
Her fingers brushed against his skin, a comforting gesture.
Lily stood guard, watching Shiva.
Shiva's expression remained neutral, unaware of their suspicions.
As Samriddhi finished treating Siddharth's injury, their eyes met.
A silent understanding passed between them.
Uncover Shiva's truth, protect themselves.
