The lobby of the hotel was relatively quiet, save for the faint hum of chatter from a few guests and the soft jazz music playing in the background. Jamie sat on one of the cushioned chairs, waiting for Alex and Logan to show up. Her fingers drummed lightly on the armrest as she glanced around, wondering how the night would unfold. She wasn't exactly excited about attending a party, especially with the risk of running into Lando, but Alex had a way of convincing her, and now here she was, waiting to go out.

After a few minutes, she heard Alex call her name. She turned around and saw him approaching with Logan in tow. Alex wore a crisp white shirt, baggy jeans, and white Nikes. Logan, on the other hand, had opted for a black tank top and casual blue jeans. They looked relaxed, but as soon as they saw her, their jaws nearly dropped.

Jamie had decided to go all out tonight, wearing a black minidress that hugged her figure perfectly. The dress accentuated her curves, and she had paired it with sleek black heels. She was going for a look that said, I'm here for a good time, but I won't be messed with.

Alex raised an eyebrow and whistled playfully. "Wow, Jamie, you look amazing. What's the occasion?"

Jamie pouted and crossed her arms. "You told me it was a party, so I dressed for a party. What did you expect?"

Logan chuckled, clearly impressed. "You're going to turn some heads tonight, that's for sure."

With a smirk, Jamie brushed off the compliment and grabbed the keys from Alex. "Well, let's get going. Who knows, maybe I'll find someone attractive at this party, and I'd rather look decent than show up looking half-asleep."

Alex laughed as they walked to the car, shaking his head in amusement. "You've got a point."

They piled into the car, Jamie taking the driver's seat, as agreed. Logan slid into the backseat, and Alex took the passenger side. As Jamie started the engine, she turned to Alex. "Alright, give me the address."

Alex tapped the destination into the navigation app, and a soft female voice announced their route: thirty minutes to their destination. Jamie pulled out of the hotel parking lot, easing onto the road as they cranked up the music, setting the mood for the evening.

Ten minutes into the drive, Alex leaned over with a grin. "By the way, I didn't tell Lando and the others that you two were coming."

Jamie turned to him, her face lighting up. "You serious? So, I can skip hanging with them if I want to?"

"Yep. If you'd rather chill at the bar or just have your own space, no one's gonna know."

Jamie couldn't hide her wide smile. "Thank you! That's the best news I've heard all day."

Logan leaned forward from the backseat, grinning. "I'm fine either way. I can stick with you guys or do my own thing. Whatever works."

Jamie glanced at him in the rearview mirror. "You should do what you want, Logan. Don't feel like you need to babysit me."

"Not at all," Logan replied. "I'm just along for the ride."

Twenty minutes later, they arrived near the club, but Jamie opted to park a few blocks away. The last thing she wanted was for anyone to recognize the car and make assumptions. As they stepped out of the vehicle, Jamie smoothed down her dress and adjusted her heels, mentally preparing herself for the night ahead.

"I'll head in a bit later," Jamie told Alex and Logan. "You two go ahead. I don't want people to associate me with you guys and start making a fuss."

Alex nodded. "Good call. Just keep your phone on, yeah? If anything happens, text me."
