Elizabeth POV
I stretched my arms as I yawned, stretching my arms out and slowly sitting up, I rubbed my eyes, looking over for Y/N- who wasn't there, instead Maxi in her spot, and I furrowed my eyebrows looking for my phone to check the time: 2:34 am, I sighed and put my phone down, rubbing Maxi's head and she started to purr, and I smiled slightly.
"Maybe you aren't such an asshole," I said mainly to myself and stood up from the bed to use the bathroom, when I got done I went to check for Y/N, I left her room and looked over into the kitchen she wasn't there, the living room, wasn't there, her game room, wasn't there.
I didn't know where she could've gone because her phone was still in the room, I heard Maxi's collar swinging and turned and saw her coming out of Y/Ns room and going over to her food bowl.
I yawned and went back in the room, sitting back on the bed, I rubbed my eyes, sitting against her headboard, looking at the TV that was playing a movie that we hadn't even watched, a few seconds later Maxi came back in and jumped on the bed, looking over at the window and meowed.
She kept doing it and I turned to her. "Shhh." She only meowed again, and I finally looked in the window to see what was getting her riled up, there was a tree directly in the view of the window and she was meowing at the birds.
I rolled my eyes and started to close the blinds when I looked over at the pool area of the apartment complex and saw someone in the pool.
Now this was a massive hunch but that could be the person missing from this bed. I got out of bed, after closing the blinds and putting on Y/Ns slides leaving her apartment and going down to the pool.
And my guess was right, 'cause there was my girl laying on her back just floating around.
"Y/N," I whispered as I stood close to the pool gate, and she shrieked, her frantic eyes meeting mine.
"What the hell are you doing?" She questioned me and I put my hands on my hips.
"'What the hell am I doing'?! What the hell are you doing? Why are you in a pool at nearly three in the morning?"
"I couldn't sleep, and I was.. horny.. but I didn't want to wake you, so I just came to the pool."
"You could've just woke me up," I said and she shrugged, and I opened the pool gate, and sat down on the chairs, watching as she swam around. "How'd you get in here? I thought they would've locked that up." I said looking over at the gate."
"I have a key."
"How'd you manage to get that?"
"I asked the landlord, and he said no.. but after well.. a bribe he agreed and made me a key." I chuckled. "Come swim with me." She requested but I scoffed.
"Hell no."
"Please?" She swam to the edge of the pool, looking at me with puppy dog eyes, but I again said no. "Lovey, pleaseee?"
Dammit.
I rolled my eyes but stood up and she cheered, I took off my shirt, leaving me in my bra, and her shorts, her eyes followed my every move and I stood by the steps that led into the water.
I stuck my foot in and hissed. "That is so cold!" I protested but she only chuckled, pushing off the wall and swimming around and I slowly walked further into the water. "It's fucking cold!"
"It's not that bad." She said and I shushed her. I walked into the water until it was up to my waist, a shiver went through me but I knew the faster I got in the water it would start to get warmer, so I submerged my body, coming up and blowing out.
"Ohh, that was terrible, oh my god." Y/N was laughing and I splashed her, she made a shocked face and splashed me back, and I shrieked. "No, it's cold!"
She smiled and swam up to me, and put her hands on my waist, leaning down and pressed a kiss to my lips, I smiled against her, putting my hand on her nape, holding her in place, before grinning and pushing her into the water and she came up spluttering and I burst into laughter.
"You are such a dick," I smirked and she grinned, slowly making her way up to me, and my smirk fell when I realized what she was trying to do, and I tried to run away from her which is pretty fucking hard to do in the water and she caught me by the waist.
"Look at me, catching you again." She mumbled and I giggled at the cuteness of the statement before trying to escape her hold, as she started tickling me.
"Y/N! Y/N no!" I giggled but the tickles only persisted. "Y/N I'm gonna piss myself! Stop." She then stopped and I tried to catch my breath, and she kept laughing.
I turned to look at her, huffing but she only smiled, and I splashed her again, and she raised her eyebrow. "You wanna play that again?"
I grunted and rolled my eyes, and she chortled, I swam up to her kissing her softly, her hand reached up to move some of my wet hair behind my ear, and she smiled, a look of adoration on her face.
"I love you." After every word she spoke, she pressed a kiss to my lips, and I smiled, my nose scrunching and her smile widened.
"I love you too." I kissed her again, and when we broke the kiss, she hugged me, and we stood together in the middle of the pool, the water was still a bit cold, but with her holding me, it didn't seem as cold.
