~2 Days later~

~General POV~

Chase was working in the kitchen of the cafe with Tyler. They were working as a team, making sure they weren't burning any burgers or fries. Tyler looked over at Chase for a moment and noticed how he seemed to be in a good mood. Chase hummed to himself, not noticing Tyler had been listening in.

Riley walked in with another order just as Tyler looked away from Chase.
"Someone's happy." Riley commented on Chase's mood
"Mmm?" Chase looked up from the food he was cooking and noticed Riley. "Hey."
"Got another order." Riley showed Chase the ticket before putting it with the others. "You know.....maybe we could get Hydie to help out." He said, mainly to get Chase's reaction.
"Chase would never get anything done." Tyler commented, which made Chase slightly offended.
"Hey!" Chase said and Tyler smiled a bit. "...that's not a bad idea." Chase looked at Riley with a smile. Riley and Tyler looked at each other. They were glad Chase had found someone he cared about, but they were still surprised Chase and Hydie were still together.
"Five bucks says they will break up by the end of next week." Tyler whispered to Riley. He hoped Chase didn't hear them.
"I give them two more weeks." Riley whispered back, having a bit more faith in Chase than Tyler did. Chase did tend to go through many girlfriends, but all of their friends could tell he cared about Hydie. Chase didn't seem to hear them because he seemed focused on what he was cooking, even though his thoughts drifted to Hydie.

Hydie stood in her ship, looking in a broken mirror that was on her ship. She could see the bruise on the side of her face. She tried to put some makeup over it, even though the bruise was already healing.
"I'm getting Fury back for this." Hydie muttered to herself since he was the one that slapped her. It wasn't sore anymore, but it was hard to hide from others. Hydie sighed and stood back from the mirror, taking a moment to think of another way to hide the bruise. The make up she was trying could only cover it up so much and she wasn't about to use a lot for something that would heal soon for her. Hydie took her hair out of the ponytail she had it in and brushed it over the bruise when her compact chimed.
"Why are you covering that up?" Scorn asked when Hydie opened the compact. "It's a battle scar....wear it with pride." Hydie rolled her eyes.
"I'd rather not be reminded that Fury of all people slapped me and had pleasure of doing it." Hydie said to Scorn, who was looking at Hydie through the compact. "Besides, if I walk around outside this ship, or my brother's...I don't want people staring." Hydie paused and looked at her reflection that was in the mirror on the wall. "If too many people stare...I will do something about it....and then my plans would be ruined."
"...take it out on Fury." Scorn suggested, even though she would protect her brother.
"Maybe I will." Hydie closed the compact and started to think of ways to get back at Fury for slapping her.

Hydie walked into her brother's ship. She ignored the murmurs from the prisoners about her bruise as she walked past them. Hydie didn't try and cover the bruise more with her hair, trying to show that she didn't care about the murmurs that she did hear.

Hydie walked into a room to see Wrench, Stingrage and a few Vivix.
"Where is my brother?" Hydie asked Wrench.
"Master Heckyl should be back soon." Wrench said as Stingrage. Hydie leaned against the wall and decided to wait with them until her brother returned. She stayed out of the way of Wrench and Stingrage, as she tried to figure out what they were up to without saying anything.

Stingrage stood on the other side of the room. He faced a machine that Wrench had set up with some things hooked up to it. Hydie looked at the machine, not seeing that Stingrage was getting ready to shoot at it.
"Here we go..." Stingrage said before he shot his stingers at the middle of the machine. Hydie noticed the stingers got stuck, but part of them were hanging out the other side. She took a step closer and saw that they were dripping into a watering can that Wrench was holding .
"Looks reanimating you was worth it Stingrage." Wrench said as he poured the venom from the watering can into a bucket that was on the floor. "The venom is being extracted from your stingers."
"What will his venom do?" Hydie asked before Snide walked in. Hydie turned towards him and held back on doing anything rude towards him.
"What silly plan did Heckyl tell you to waste your time on?" Snide asked and pretended that he didn't notice Hydie standing near Wrench. Hydie and her brother may have agreed to work together to gain the rangers Energems, but that didn't mean Hydie liked being around Snide.
"We're taking my venom so when the rangers drink it, they'll forget who they are." Stingrage said, which made Snide and Hydie look at him.
"The rangers aren't dumb enough to drink it..." Hydie said to Stingrage. "....at least not knowingly." Snide looked at Hydie. He noticed the bruise he caused was still visible on her face.
"Still bruised Dee Dee?" Snide asked with a chuckle. Hydie shrugged.
"Not as bruised as you will be if you Fury slaps me again." Hydie said to Snide before she looked back at the venom Wrench was extracting from Stingrage's stingers. Hydie ignored the nickname Snide used that she didn't like. "I'm taking some of that." She said and found a nearby container to put some of the venom in so she could take it back to her ship.
"Why do you need that?"
"Maybe I want to forget about you." Hydie said to Snide, but didn't drink it. "Or maybe I might need it for my own plans." She was careful with the venom, not wanting to affect her.
"We could work together...." Snide suggested.
"Did you just suggest we work together?" Hydie asked in disbelief. "Are you really that desperate for an energem that you'd be willing to work with me?" She looked at Snide. He didn't get along with Hydie even though she was Heckyl's sister. "The world must be ending." She muttered to herself.
"If we use your connection to the black ranger...we can make sure one of Heckyl's plans would work for once." Hydie thought about the suggestion.
"We can work together this time...." Hydie started to say "...but if this goes wrong, then I get to decide on the next plan." She stood in front of Snide, staring at him before he slowly gave a nod.
