"Chaos Art: Wondrous Calamity!"
From the ceiling of Sincasa, pillars of sapphire flames rained down, astronomical in scope as their heat torched the very air.
Down below, the violet dragon raced rapidly across the arena, her heels tearing through the soil.
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
All around her, the spears of fire kissed the grounds of the colosseum, and like bombs, they exploded into dense spheres of hellish blaze.
Her visibility suffered.
But even then, she felt that jolt in her spine—that hiss of her instinct.
Selen jerked her body around, just in time to find the scarlet beast pouncing through the flames. From her lips lustered a psychotic smile, her slit pupils pulsating with azure.
She cocked back her hand.
Selen did the same.
THOOM!
A cataclysmic impact, one which blasted a monstrous shockwave throughout the entire battlefield. Slim fissures snaked through the ground, and the lake of fire briskly vanished from existence.
Still, there was momentum to be had. And the violet dragon desired it.
Brutal in power, Selen rammed her foot into Kai's gut, shooting the fiend into the sky.
Selen then stretched out her beastly hand to forge a small, dense orb of vibrating purple flames.
"Pocket Comet!"
She flung it, and like a demented hornet, the projectile zoomed towards its target.
FoOoOoOm!
The scarlet beast grinned.
"Come on~," she mocked. "That all you got!?"
The moment the projectile reached, Kai snatched it with her bare hand, then slammed her palms together, erasing the attack entirely.
"Let me show you how it's done." The menace held out her hand. "Chaos Art: Second Sun!"
Atop her palm, a tiny disk of sapphire blaze emerged, and with the outer ring serrated, it spun more violently than a rampant saw blade.
Godly, her throw was, her strength fierce enough to puncture the sound barrier.
Zoo-zOoOoOm!
The challenger barely had time to brace herself.
KABOOM!
Into her scales burrowed searing pain, her world engulfed mercilessly in azure.
Kai kept her hunger.
Craving satisfaction, she rocketed to the violet dragon, and when she reached, she gripped her head to smash it into the wall. Selen's skull rattled against the impact.
Kai's smile went wide.
But with her focus buried in the mayhem, she didn't notice the challenger's beastly hand facing her. Along it, the veins glowed with sickly heat.
"Hazard Paw!"
BOOM!
From her palm, an explosion of purple flames erupted, and the scarlet beast was blasted away to the other end of the colosseum. Her bones cracked deeply as she crashed into the wall, but even then, she flaunted a swift recovery, rising steadily to her feet.
