The first era . . .

Serenity, swirling all around, the splendid scene blanketed with a pleasant hush. In the skies thrived a breathtaking cerulean, adorned with clouds grand and fluffy like marshmallows. Amidst it all hung the radiant sun, its rays resplendent and mellow.

Then came down below, where the splendor only beamed further. Green, as far as the eye could see, the forest seemingly endless. Luscious blades of grass. Vibrant oak trees. From branch to branch, robins and cardinals sang their sweet notes.

The little ones enjoyed every second of it.

Zigzagging between the trees, the tiny Phoenix beamed.

"Calli! Calli! Look!" She held out her arms. "Fwoooooom!"

The little Reaper copied her, giggling herself.

Behind them, the Caretaker lent a light chuckle.

"What in the world are you doing?" he wondered.

His attention soon swiveled to the forest's rooftop. There, the young Shark leapt wildly from branch to branch.

"Gura!" the Caretaker scolded. "Get down from there! You're gonna hurt yourself!"

"Is okay, Sensei!" the girl assured. "I'm super good! I'm— A . . ."

She slipped.

But not a complete failure, her tail hooking onto the wood to deny her fall.

"I'm okay!" She went back to it.

The Caretaker sighed. "You're gonna give me a heart attack . . ."

Just then, the tiny Priestess seated on his shoulders poked his cheek.

"Sensei," she said softly, "will the senpais have treats?"

"I want mochi!" the Voyager bellowed, holding the man's hand.

"I want soup . . ." the Priestess added.

The Caretaker smiled. "I'm sure they'll have lots and lots."

Near the refined dock, the sizable ship slowed to a stop, stationed upon the ocean's glistening waves as a trio of distinguished individuals soon stepped foot onto the shores of Eridios.

Sickly green was the Angel's face, her stomach a squirming mess.

"Why does this always happen to me?" she groaned.

"You okay?" the Marvelous Dragon asked. "Want some medicine?"

The Magician sighed. "That's why we keep telling you to stay home."

The Angel furrowed her brow. "Stuff it! You're not gonna keep me away from my adorable kouhais!"

Right on cue, the pack of delightful children burst from the edge of the forest, and spotting the new arrivals, they bolted straight for the dock, their happiness immeasurable.

"Kanata-senpai!" the Priestess cheered, jumping into the Angel's arms.

A hug returned just as tight. "Ina! Ina!"

The Voyager, on the other hand, calmly approached, and the Angel lovingly stroked her head.

"Hello, Ame-chan~."

The Reaper and Phoenix followed suit, bouncing recklessly into the Marvelous Dragon.

"Coco-senpai!" they sang in unison.

The Dragon gave a hearty laugh as she matched the embrace. "How are my fantastic kouhais doing?"

As for the Shark, she dashed to the Magician to cling to her legs.

"Shion-senpai!" she cheered happily.

The Magician playfully rubbed her cheeks. "Konnichiwa, Gura-chan~."

The Caretaker eventually joined the scene himself, encouraging the foreigners to bow their heads with respect.

"Konnichiwa, Yagoo-sensei," the Angel said.

The man gave a nod. "Hello, hello. Easy trip?"

The Dragon grinned as she shot up a peace sign. "But of course! Nothing in these waters we can't handle!"

"Speak for yourself," the Angel said. "I thought I was gonna hurl my guts out."

"Are you sick, Senpai?" the Priestess quietly asked.

The Angel squeezed her like a teddy bear. "Not when I'm with you, Ina-chan!"

Giggles all around.

The Dragon soon started her march towards the forest. "Come on, ladies. Let's play till we drop! Then, you'll get a whole bunch of presents!"

Like ecstatic bubbles, excitement twirled amidst the little ones, and they gleefully joined their senior.

The Angel wasn't far behind.

"Always a free spirit," she chided playfully before dashing into the fun herself.

* * *

Before they knew it, evening had rolled through, the sun kissing the horizon as canvases of soft orange and mesmerizing magenta drifted into the skies.

Upon the mountainous hill, the little ones slumbered, their minds and bodies nuzzled by sweet exhaustion.

Lovingly, the Angel stroked the heads of the Priestess and Voyager.

"For such little bodies, their batteries sure do last a while," she said. "They are getting bigger, though. Feels like it was only yesterday that we heard the Bells."

"Pretty soon, they're gonna be giving us piggyback rides," the Magician noted.

The Dragon grinned. "Fine with me. This old lady could use a break once in a while."

"She says after building Mythica Park," the Angel pointed out.

"Just 'cause I'm old doesn't mean I can't have some fun! Besides, I'm hoping I can lure a dragon with wings on their head. Apparently, breeds like that are supposed to be super rare, and I wanna meet one real bad."

"So rare I doubt they even exist," the Magician argued.

The trio laughed.

The Caretaker, meanwhile, kept his gaze to the distant glimmering sea, his mind a boundless collage of thoughts.

"They still have a long way to go," he said. "The people here still don't understand what, exactly, the Myth Collective is, and the girls themselves aren't old enough to enforce their existence. Not yet. A second Jupitas is getting more and more out of the question."

"I don't see how that's a bad thing," the Dragon chimed in. "Eridios doesn't have to be a one-to-one clone. As long as it can contribute well to Moreida as a whole, I'd argue this land can have its own identity. Who knows? It might end up being even better than Jupitas. We just gotta put our faith in Myth."

"I suppose you're right. Whatever Eridios becomes will be because of these girls, and seeing how electrifying their characters already are, it's a high possibility they lead this country to tremendous heights. I'm excited to see where the future takes us."

Grinning, the Magician leaned in close to the sleeping Shark.

"You hear that, Gura-chan?" she said softly. "You're gonna make Eridios a paradise. We're counting on you."

But ideals often had a way of fading into the wind, the remnants slipping past fingertips like ashes of a once golden dream.
