"Aiden, no!" Louis exclaimed, tugging the boy back lightly and swiftly picking him up. The road wasn't even busy, but having him almost walk out onto it was something that didn't settle down with him. "You can't just walk onto the street, alright?"

Aiden looked almost too innocent to be real, "Why?" he questioned.

Louis sighed and pulled up the zipper on the toddlers jacket a bit, "Because it's dangerous and you could get hurt, bud! You either need me or Daddy, alright?" he asked, raising his eyebrows.

Aiden had wide eyes, and nodded, but quickly his attention was averted to the light on the crosswalk telling them that they could go across the street. "Hey! Hey! D-Daaaddd!" he pointed to the sign.

Louis couldn't help but grin at the name he was given, and put Aiden down. He held his hand as he let the boy aimlessly jump across the white lines of the crosswalk. "Right here," he said when Aiden almost waddled right past the bakery. It had only been a bit over two weeks since they first adopted Aiden and already all of their friends and family were obsessed with the cuteness of the little boy. Visits from the mums were often, and it was a good thing that Aiden took a liking to them. He also seemed infatuated with the twins Daisy and Phoebe, who loved playing with him too.

Aiden hadn't been successful in sleeping in his own room that much. In the two weeks he only survived three and a half nights in there before he came running back to Harry and Louis' room to sleep with them.

The only trouble that they had was when Louis had classes and Harry had work. Thankfully Harry was the owner slash manager now, and didn't need to be at the place 24/7. Louis was able to take classes online when he needed due to having a kid to take care of.

It seemed to work out when Harry took him to the bakery with him. When Louis didn't have class he took over. Then Louis would have footie and either hand him over to Harry or take him with him, which only happened once. Anne and Jay were all open arms about babysitting, and so was Gemma and Niall and Liam. Though Aiden hadn't quite seemed to get used to anyone other than Louis and Harry, Anne, Jay, Gem, and the twins. The men of the family hadn't appealed to him yet and neither did some of the Tomlinson sisters. The boys schedule with Aiden may have seemed a bit hectic, but surprisingly they were doing great with their time management.

Louis opened the door for Aiden, and let him run into the warm cozy place. Aiden somehow instantly found the tall curly haired man, and wasted no time in running up to the side of the counter. He tried reaching up to the top of the counter considering he couldn't get to Harry, but failed miserably. He jutted out his bottom lip in a big pout, and whimpered as he grew frustrated and upset. "Hey!" he whined quietly, letting the tears well up in his little beady eyes.

Harry noticed him however, and leaned over, "Hia, bub," he gasped, succeeding in making a smile appear on Aiden's face again. He reached his small arms up again, and this time Harry stretched his arms and picked him up, lifting him over to the other side of the counter and holding him on his hip.

Louis had only been a few feet away, and wanted to coo and giggle and squeal in happiness over the adorable moment the two had just shared. Instead he just walked forward and through what were called "bar doors" except they didn't look as if you had just walked through old saloon doors and re-entered into the cowboy days.

Harry smiled at Louis and pecked his lips, "I see you decided to join me today?" he raised his eyebrows in a teasing manner.

"Why yes we did," Louis answered, "I don't have classes all day and don't have footie till tonight, and both of us had probably grown tired of watching the Incredibles, Spidey, and Elmo all day," he sighed, giving a shrug.

Harry chuckled and went to say something else, but then another voice entered the conversation with a gasp. "Harry! Is this Aiden? You haven't even given me a chance to see the little cutie," Michael suddenly came up behind him, placing a hand on his friends shoulder.

Harry smiled at him, "Yeah. Aiden, this is Mikey. Say hi, bud," he encouraged the boy.

Aiden didn't do much but give a small smile before hiding his face in Harry's neck.

"Get back on the register, Michael," an elderly voice suddenly scolded playfully, swatting the brightly colored haired boy with a towel. He went off with a chuckle, and then all of her attention was on the other three. "Hi, Louis, dear," she smiled, giving him a hug.

"Hi, Barbara," Louis greeted.

"Hi, Aiden," Barbara looked at him, "how are you, love?" she asked, only getting a shrug in return. "How bout this, I get you a cookie?" she asked the toddler, raising her eyebrows in question.

Aiden smiled, shooting her a toothy grin, "Yes!" he squealed. So the woman disappeared behind the counter again, and returned a minute later with a chocolate chip cookie. Louis thanked God that it wasn't a big one that would have Aiden running around on a sugar high for hours on end later.

"What do you say?" Louis asked.

"Tank you," Aiden murmured shyly, giving her a little smile with his head leaning on Harry.

Harry smiled, "Alright, well, I'm done here for the day. I'll see you later, Barbara," he said to the woman.

She nodded, "Sounds good to me. It was nice seeing you again, Louis," she patted his shoulder before going back into the kitchen.

"Alright, you wanna go?" Harry asked, bouncing Aiden but directing the question more to Louis.

Louis nodded, "Yeah," he responded, randomly grinning at his husband and son. They walked out of the bakery and started out to their cars.

"I drove my car, do you wanna meet up at home and then go out somewhere maybe? Or are we just hanging at home until footie?" he asked.

Louis blushed, "Can we go down to the park right by the house?" he asked embarrassedly.

Harry beamed at him, locking their fingers together and giving his hand a tight squeeze. "Course. You wanna go to the playground, love?" Harry asked the toddler, who nodded.

The two parted ways, Aiden switching over to Harry's car since he for some reason took a liking to it more than the smaller Nissan Altima.

"Come on!" Aiden squirmed down from Louis' arms, holding both of his dad's hands as he rushed to the playground.

Louis laughed, jogging to keep up with the energy filled boy. Aiden led him to the swings, struggling to climb on due to his short figure. Louis bent down and picked him up, settling him down on the swing before going around to the other side to push him.

Harry walked up behind them both, sneaking up behind Louis to tickle his sides. The older man squealed, jumping and turning around quickly to see his husband laughing hysterically.

Harry grinned, pulling Louis to him and latching their lips in a sweet kiss. Louis' hand tangled in Harry's curls, before their moment was interrupted.

"Come push me!"
