(Technically there is a bit fluff but it's kinda faint-)
A few knocks sounded from a certain toon's door as he got up to go check on them. "Dandy...?" The toon said as he opened the door wider. "Yup! The one and only!" Dandy smiled. Astro could only smile weakly.
'I hope this isn't one of my stupid lucid dreams again...'
Astro looked to the side as Dandy walked past him and onto one of the beanbags on the floor. (I swear if Astro's room isn't space themed in-game I ain't having it)
"How have you been holding up, Asy?"
Dandy questioned him as the moon sighed.
"Eh, fine, I guess. How about you?"
Astro said as he looked at Dandy with half-lidded eyes. The scenario just seemed so real.
"Awwww...I'm happy that you're doing good as well as I'm doing!"
Dandy smiled as he went on to hold his (Astro's) hand. Astro could only smile. He could never be sad or angry for long when Dandy was around, even if it was just a dream. It just...it just made him feel comforted. Even if just for a moment, he wished he could turn back time and have Dandy by his side again.
...
That'll never happen though. Everyone just hates it when he's (Astro) around. Astro always wondered why. Well maybe he had an inkling of why but he refused to believe it.
It was kinda his fault for deciding to stay by Dandy's side though they made many allegations against him which turned out to be true. Maybe he should've just listened to them after all.
"Dandy I-"
"..."
Just like that, Dandy was gone. He couldn't tell if it was real or not. Not anymore.
Astro woke up, feeling the same. Same meaning the worst he could feel. It didn't matter though.
He'll see Dandy again, right?
Right?
*KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK*
Ah, right. Althea was gonna visit him today. Sometimes he'd still wonder why she still visited him though the others hated him. Maybe he'd never know.
*creakkkk...*
"Oh- um...hi Astro. Cosmo asked me to bring this to you."
Oh and Cosmo too. Seems like not all of them hated him after all.
"...thanks."
Astro whispered as he rubbed his eye.
"So uh...did you have anything else to do today?"
She looked to the side and fiddled with her thumbs. Wonder what that was for.
"Not really considering the circumstances..."
He looked at her with half-lidded eyes and yawned.
"Ah um...right. I'd best not bother you anymore, Astro. Oh and here's a book Brightney lent to me. She doesn't like it when you take them directly so I came here to give it to you."
Althea smiled sweetly as she handed him a book.

Once Althea was gone, Astro decided to open the book. It was a plant facts book. Dandy would've loved this.
*CLACK*
Astro took a step back, surprised by the sudden sound. He wasn't expecting anything to drop. Astro frowned as he glanced down towards the source of thr sound.
"A...a tape? Along with blue marker on the label? I...don't recall this specific one at all..."
Astro looked over the tape. The label didn't seem to say anything specific, other than a #10 on it. He sighed as he moved towards the old tv.
