*clatter*
The familiar sound of plates being washed filled your ears as you groggily trudged out of your bedroom towards the kitchen. You always woke up late, no matter the instance. It's always been like that, even on the big holidays.
Ah. That's right. Sprout was cooking today. You rubbed your eyes as you wondered why you even bothered to stay after the place shutdown a few years ago. It hasn't even been that long.
"Y/N! Oh- oh cod, you look awful!"
A voice was heard behind you.
Right. You were supposed to hangout with Finn later.
"Heheh...you really think so?"
You smiled awkwardly, prompting Finn to quickly shake his head.
"Not as shrimp-le as I expected...but I didn't mean to make you awkward!"
Finn smiled and apologized, proceeding to walk ahead, you following behind him.
[Timeskip to after breakfast]
*splash*
"OH MY COD THAT THING IS BIG"
Finn smiled widely at the fish you caught.
"I didn't expect it to be...yeah."
You half-grinned.
"Hey...speaking of fish,"
Finn started, turning towards you.
"How about I tell you some puns?"
He grinned.
"Yeah...I was feeling bored anyways."
You replied as you raised your legs up to sit cross-legged on your seat, happily listening to his puns as the day went on.
