In the morning, just like every other morning for the majority of the group, they all begin to wake to the sun shining down on them. Eyes begin to open, and people begin to stand, reluctantly getting up to start a new day.

Everyone, with the exception of Azuri, Luci, and Razz, who are all newer to the crew, have grown quite tired. Plus Pipit, who doesn't really get tired unless she's not charged, which is no issue with her being solar powered. Constantly getting to bed late and waking up early is starting to take a toll them. Even Kiera, who didn't even sleep much in the first place, is starting to feel drained.

Bolt groans as he begins to move his feet, feeling like he may pass out with every step he takes. He wines, his boots dragging against the black floor.

"My legs hurt..." Bolt complains, earning a sad look from Pipit and an annoyed huff from Veo.

"All of our legs hurt, quit whining!" Veo growls, annoyed with this all himself, and also just in a bad mood with Azuri present.

Kiera sighs, seeing Bolt in so much pain, not able to tolerate this stuff just as well as the others can. She crouches down, motioning for him to hop on her back. He hesitates for a moment, not wanting to tire her more because of his whining, but he gives in, hopping onto her back. She stands, now giving the Siamese a piggy back ride.

Veo looks outraged and jealous seeing this, "What the hell?! How come he gets special treatment?! Just because he's a twink?!" Veo yells.

"Quit being an asshole, Veo. If you turn into a bat I can carry you too," Kiera says, keeping her eyes forward. Veo doesn't do anything at first, not wanting to appear weak. He finally lets out a sigh, transforming into a bat and flying over to rest peacefully on top of Kiera's hat, his blanket sitting folded atop of him.

She carries the two boys, not showing too much struggle as she does so. Blibzy, Creamsicle, Angel and Eve all squeeze into Pipit's chest compartment with Lily, Razz walking alongside the robot. Luci hops up onto Trooper's back, hitching a ride from the German Shepard.

Determined to make it to the last cat today, the group doesn't even stop for lunch and just eats on the way. Bolt and Veo have both passed out, Bolt's head resting cutely on Kiera's shoulder while Veo sleeps on her head in his bat form.

Far too much time passes, the sun setting once more to end the day. Kiera lets out a sigh, disappointed that they didn't make it towards the last cat on this day. Though, looking around, the scenery has changed. The dark ground has somehow grown darker, and the amount of dead trees have grown in size. The further they walk, the taller the trees get, the darker the whole place seems to be.

They begin to walk up the hill in front of them, Kiera struggling slightly since she's carrying Bolt and a bat on her head. Her legs move faster, wanting desperately to know that they've arrived, and that soon enough she'll be able to return home. She's grown attached to this group, but she deeply misses her shelter of comfort, her place of safety.

Determination is written all over her face, as her and the other members of the group that are still walking climb the hill. And once she finally reaches the top, she sees exactly what she wants to see.

A large black and purple castle, just at the other side of the hill. Pipit's screen changes to the picture of the map, lighting up with the words, "YOU HAVE ARRIVED AT YOUR DESTINATION." Kiera's face lights up with a hint of joy, looking just as bright as Pipit's screen. She shakes herself lightly, intentionally waking up both Bolt and Veo in the process.

Both are in a daze, before coming to their senses when they see the large structure in front of them. Veo transforms back into his regular form out of excitement without thinking twice, landing on top of Kiera and Bolt.

Bolt yelps and Kiera grunts, the group now lying in a cat pile. Veo chuckles nervously as Kiera shoots him a glare, carefully getting off of the two cats. Once they've all separated themselves, the group starts walking towards the castle, Azuri giggling slightly as he realizes just how close the group has gotten during the days they've spent together.

Bolt goes back to his tired state after the shock of seeing the castle, making walking down the hill a whole lot harder. Suddenly, not seeing the rock in front of his foot, he trips. Being behind everyone, he falls forward, tumbling down and taking out everyone with him!

Mostly everyone, anyways. Kiera manages to step out of the way in time with her quick reflexes, continuing her walk down the hill while everyone else summersaults down in a panic. A smile reaches her face, amused by the sight, chuckling slightly to herself.

When she reaches the bottom, everyone is in a pile on the floor, groaning in pain as Veo flips Bolt off. Pipit opens her stomach compartment in a panic, sighing in relief when she realizes that Lily is okay because of her and the cats being so packed in there that they couldn't move around inside.

Kiera walks past the pile, as everyone struggles to pull themselves apart before following her in tow. Kiera heads up to the doors of the castle, pushing them open and walking inside.

Everyone peaks inside from behind Kiera, as they all begin to walk down the dark halls of the castle. The place seems like a maze from the inside, as the crew slowly makes their way towards what they assume is the thrown room.

Stepping inside, a small squish is heard under Azuri's foot. His eyes widen as he slowly looks down and picks up his foot to see what he stepped on:

An eye.

And not just any eye either, but eyes that are exactly like Azuri's. Looking all around, these glowing eyes lie everywhere. Many gasps are heard among the group, as Kiera's mind goes straight to the eyeless being they ran into last night. Luci seems to have the same thoughts.

Suddenly, Luci hops onto Pipit's head and baps her gently, causing a picture of the eyeless being to show up as she begins to describe what exactly it is.

"They're called Seye's. There was a story at some point that someone was driven mad enough to rip out their own eyes, and was cursed to roam these lands in search of another pair. It was originally an urban folks tale to scare children into staying inside at night. But what started off as a mere story, became something quite real. It's like an infection. They rip out peoples eyes, only to realize that they won't work to replace their own. This must be where they store all of the lost eyes," Pipit explains, merely summarizing the article.

Most seem disgusted by this discovery, all except for Kiera, who doesn't seem surprised. She continues to move forward, the others hesitantly following alongside her. Soon enough, they reach a pile of skulls.

"Kind of cliché," Kiera says, walking up the pile towards the large thrown sitting on a black platform atop of them. Sitting on the thrown is exactly who they've been looking for.

The last kitten of the six.
