"Are you both free this Sunday?" Sir Wen asked, I was already begging the universe that he won't ask us to go to the market but that's exactly what he did.

"We're running out of stock. I will pay extra."

In a speed of light Seb answered "I'm free sir" they both looked at me for my answer.

"Fine, fine. I'll go" They laughed at me, sounding forced.

"No one's forcing you. Afterall, you're short. Finding you in the midst of the crowd won't be easy." He teased me.

"Whatever, tall stump. I hope you bumped your head over something later." I rebut, Sir Wen shook his head due to our childishness.

He's already immune to Seb's daily tease. I call him Seb since Sebastian was kind of long and I'm kind of lazy. He calls me Aster like everybody else- he tried calling me Vega but I punched him hard.

He loves teasing me more than he loves his arms that I used to hit with my hand every time I get annoyed.

Weeks ago I was just a little girl hoping to be friends with him but sometimes I just want Kingkong to come here, get him, and then throw him far away from me.

After a busy Saturday night, I overslept. Today is Sunday and I already did my school stuff last night. The only thing in my to do list today is go to the market with Seb to buy the list of ingredients that Sir Wen wrote.

I am wearing a black silk tube top partnered with classy slacks and a pair of trendy boots. I know this is too much because we're just going to the market. The point is that I only have this kind of clothes. All of the clothes in my closet look either elegant or classy. The fashion vibes were like an It girl plus an old money woman.

Though I have hoodies which look good and casual on me- why would I wear that in such hot weather?

Coincidence. Right after I stepped out of my apartment, Seb was already on his way out. His lips parted when his eyes met me.

He looked at me from head to toe and even asked me to take a turn. "You look like you're portraying a domineering CEO. I never knew there's a red carpet on the way to the wet market." He commented.

I crossed my arms "You don't understand." I said then take a slow turn to show my outfit

"What if I get hit by a car and die? They said the clothes you're wearing the day you die is the outfit you'd be wearing when you became a ghost." I explained looking all serious when I clearly know that he will just laugh at me

"What if there's a really handsome heir looking for a girl to date? If I am not wearing pretty he won't notice me, it would be a waste" I added another scenario

"Even a shorty can think about a lot of possibilities? Drama queen." he said but I ignored him because I have more to say.

"What if-" my body stopped for a moment when I heard him compliment me

"You look great." He sincerely said, I ran out of words as if this was the first time that someone complimented me. I didn't say anything and just followed him to the parking lot where my motorcycle parks.

"Silence? What? Your first time to get a compliment?"

"No! I know that I look great. It's just that... it was your first time sounding sincere"

"You're humiliating me." He said and I just mocked him.

There was a guy running at his top speed. "Move away!" He screams.

He was so near to bumping us, and I was shocked and curious to even know what I'm going to do. Seb immediately pushed me away so that the guy wouldn't bump into me. I grabbed his arms with me to also protect him, the reason why we're now in an awkward position.
