We're still working and there's a lot of customers inside and also takeout orders. Sir Wen didn't leave because he needed to help us pack orders. It's a lot- we even run out of black forest flavoured milk tea.

Sir Wen was the one delivering the orders. I hope he considers hiring another employee.

After a busy hour, customers started to reduce and there's no more orders. Finally, I had the time to talk to Seb. I've been wanting to get this letter out of my pocket to ask him about Senior's night.

"I need you to do me a favour." I said as an introduction, just an introduction because of course I will also explain why. It's exciting to start it this way.

He stared at me waiting for me to speak. I'm quite nervous and excited.

"So... Senior's night was just around the corner.. and..." I failed to continue what I'm about to say when Sir Wen came and interrupted us.

"Prepare yourselves on Saturday... I just got an order reservation." He said then let us see the receipt on his hand.

"A law firm is holding a celebration.. I don't know why but their boss ordered a lot of milk tea and coffee. Big time." He smiled at us and winked.

His happiness right now looks like my happiness every time I gain a lot of profit during our marketing project. Money does make people happy. Who said it isn't?

"You're really great Sir Wen!" I complimented him and even gave him a thumbs up. I managed to smile even though I am clear that Seb can't come with me.

"So what are you saying again?" Seb asked me to continue what I'm saying.

"Ahhh.. Sir Wen I'm not available on Saturday night. That's the date of our Senior's night." I said honestly, biting my lower lip because I'm a little nervous.

Our boss just told us that we had a lot of orders on Saturday but I am here telling him that I can't go to work. I hate putting stress on top of Sir Wen's other problems but I can't do anything.

"It's fine... Seb and I can take it. If not.. I will ask someone to lend us a hand. Do whatever you have to do. Have a fun night! Slay our star!" I smiled at him because I didn't expect that he'll respond positively.

If it was another boss... I'm probably in a huge mess. Luckily, it was Sir Wen.

The point now is.... I will really attend without a partner. I can't ask Seb to be my partner. My excitement is all gone now.

He gets back to what we're talking about, "What about Senior's night?"

"Ahhh.." I paused for a moment. I can't tell him about the partner thingy because he might feel guilty for me.

"For you to help me ask Sir Wen about having a day off. But.. he already agreed now." I took a deep breath. "Problem solved." I mumbled.

"That's all?" He asked again, not convinced of my statement earlier.

"Yeah" I smiled to assure him. "What else could it be? Get back to work." I said, I put my hands on his back- pushing him to go.

He nodded, "Are you sure?" He asked again so I assured him more. We get back to work and finish our shift.

I need to just forget about having a partner. No one said students who don't have someone holding their hand on their way to the venue can't go in. But I do feel sad, I've been excited for so long- I already expected his presence.

"I'm hungry." I said before Seb got into his house.

"I'll cook something nice. Get inside." He said so I smiled successfully.
