A week later.

Knuckles got out of the hospital as he sighed deeply before looking at Sonic talking to his sister.

He swallowed his pride and sighed as he said to himself, "I hope Sonic can accept it this time."

Knuckles didn't know what they were saying but he turns around trying to compose himself.

Sonic 'who was talking to Sonia' said sternly, "Oh no. I'm not going out with him."

Sonia 'with a calm but saddened expression' replied, "Come on Sonic. Do it for me. You want to make it up to him don't you?"

Sonic answered with a stressed sigh, "Yes..."

Sonia then said as she pats his shoulder with a smile, "Then do it Sonic. Do it for me."

Sonic sighed again and replied, "Fine... But only because you're my big sister."

Before he can confront him, Sonic turns to Sonia and said, "Look. Before I do this... I want to say... sorry."

Sonia jumped as Sonic continued, "I shoulda listen to you when you said don't confess to him."

Sonia was gonna say something before Sonic interrupted her, "I know. You were just trying to look out for me. Manic does the same for us. So, I don't blame you. Not ever."

Sonic then walked off as Knuckles walked to him.

Sonia thought, "I kinda liked him still. But, he only liked Julie-Su at the time. But, it was partially true. I didn't want Sonic to date him cause I was afraid he get hurt."

Once Sonic stopped in front of Knuckles he begrudgingly said, "Ugh... Sorry."

Knuckles replied to him, "You were drunk. You didn't know what you were doing. Look Sonic..."

He took a deep breath and asked as he takes Sonics hands, "Sonic will you go out with me?!"

Sonic rolled his eyes in a rude manner before answering, "Ugh. Fine. I'll go out with you. But I ain't buying your flattery."

Knuckles sighed in relief and thought, "He said yes. Oh thank God..."

Knuckles then asked, "How about meeting me at the aquarium?"

Sonic rolled his eyes before he replied, "Whatever."

He thought, "Anything to get him off my case. Plus I still feel bad for trying to kill him. Drunk or not."

Before he can say anything else, Knuckles kissed him on the lips quickly as he wrapped his arms around the blue hedgehog.

He couldn't bring himself to kiss him back as Sonic thought as his heart was beating, "Shit! Quick move. I'm only interested in the goddam fact he didn't throw up in my mouth."

Knuckles broke the kiss and sighed deeply as Sonic blinked a couple of times.

Knuckles smiled and said, "Wears something pretty... ...Or decent."

He walks off as Sonic thought angrily, "WHY THE HELL DID I NOT PUSH HIM OFF!?"

He then felt his heart skipped as he thought, "Shit! No! Not again! I hate that sound!!"
