A crow flew calmly in the slightly cloudy, but still softly sunny sky. Since the weather was no longer too gloomy, the light of the sun could appear, but this presented a minor obstacle to the three young people.

Nezuko was not allowed to be exposed to sunlight. As long as the sun was shining, they could not safely go on to Urokodaki. Tanjiro and [Y/N] on the other hand were able to come up with an idea. The demon was hidden in a small cave, so she was protected from the sun. However, they didn't stay with her as they had to find something to carry Nezuko without getting hurt.

Not far from the cave, the two met a man and woman cultivating their fields. They were lucky enough to find a basket there that was just right for carrying Nezuko without any problems.

"Excuse me!" Tanjiro called their attention as they turned to them. "Do you mind if we take that basket and some bamboo and straw?"

"It's all right... but there are holes in the basket." answered the man.

"We understand. Then please let us pay for it." [Y/N] said and then started digging in her haori pocket. Tanjiro followed her example and started earning money. Seeing this, the man just waved at them dismissively.

"Come on, it's not necessary! After all, there were only holes in the basket."

"No, we'll pay anyway!" Tanjiro insisted as the man continued to protest and shake his head. "No, it's not necessary! You can take the bamboo and the straw as well."

"But that's not fair! We'll still make you pay!" insisted [Y/N] this time and started searching for the money again.

The man now looked at them confused and slightly angry at their stubbornness. He was glad they were so fair, but that basket was damaged. He and his wife wouldn't get much use out of it, and selling it damaged for money would be despicable.

"I told you it wasn't necessary! You are stubborn children!" he grumbled, but was immediately silenced when the two forcefully placed coins in his hands. "Please accept this little money!" they shouted.

The man began to hold his hand in pain as the two quickly grabbed the basket, bamboos and straw and walked quickly back towards the cave.

"Thank you very much!" they shouted as the man grunted and the coins fell out of his hand.

The two returned to the cave. They looked through its entrance, but to their surprise they did not see the girl. Maybe it was because of the darkness, but the sun provided pretty good lighting, so that probably wasn't the reason.
