By the next day, tempers had calmed down. The rest of the evening passed peacefully. Zenitsu eventually collapsed from exhaustion, leaving Tanjiro to drag him to the futon. Nezuko refused to go back into her box, so she slept snuggled up to [Y/N] all night. But as time passed, as the first rays of the sun approached, she put her back to the box so that she wouldn't accidentally get exposed to light.

Although that evening the door of the box opened again and Nezuko emerged again. She was tired of not being snuggled up to her warm body, but next to the hard top of the box. She smiled happily when she saw [Y/N] approaching her.

"~[Y/N]-chan!~" Zenitsu's voice suddenly came out, immediately catching both of their attention. Glancing there, they found the boy, who with his fingers pressed together in front of him, with a strange loving expression on his face, was squirming somewhere on the other side of the room.

"~[Y/N]-chan!~" he repeated again before moving closer to her face.

"Zenitsu...?" she muttered ignorantly, then started to run away from him in surprise when the boy extended his arms towards her and started chasing her. "[Y/N]-chan! [Y/N]-chan!" he shouted as he happily chased after her. Nezuko chased after them with a disgruntled huff, trying to get the boy to stop this foolishness.

Fortunately, their pursuit was stopped by Tanjiro, who quickly stood in front of him with outstretched arms.

"Zenitsu! Stop this right now!" commanded. Perhaps it was no secret that, like his sister, he was not satisfied with Zenitsu's behavior. Why was he chasing her like that? What hit him all of a sudden? His mind was spinning with questions.

Zenitsu just looked at him with an innocent, neutral expression. This phrase was taken over by a truly dazed one after a few moments. "Tan-ji-ro!" he said, mesmerizing every syllable, then walked towards him and took his hands in his. This scared Tanjiro.

"Let's be friends, Tanjiro and Nezuko-chan!" Zenitsu shouted after him as the two girls and Tanjiro ran away from him. "Zenitsu! Please stop chasing us!" he called desperately to him as they ran around the room.

"Come on, don't talk nonsense, Tanjiro!" The boy didn't back down. What a wonderful opportunity it was for him. Tanjiro and Nezuko were close to [Y/N] which meant he could get a lot closer to her through them.

"~[Y/N]-chan!~" he called her name again.

This continued for a while. The three ran away from him, gasping for breath, while he called out the girl's name and begged the boy and his sister to be friends. This little action was put an end to by Inosuke, who suddenly yanked the doors open and shouted. He rushed towards Tanjiro, then with great force he aimed with his head at the center of his back.
