The Kamado family was excited. They were excited because they were waiting for someone special to arrive. But as excited as they were, especially the children, they knew it wouldn't take long to meet the person.

There was a simple reason for this. The person was busy. In this case, it is also a certain member of the Kamado family, Kamado Tanjiro. Although his family wasn't exactly the richest, they didn't let that stop them from achieving happiness and a proper lifestyle.

Tanjiro was preparing to sell charcoal in a nearby village. He hoped to earn some money for his loving family. The boy was kind-hearted, kind and empathetic. The way he was able to connect with people was enviable.

The boy was now sitting on the floor of his house, his basket full of charcoal beside him, staring blankly out of his mind. He could have left much earlier to sell the charcoal, but he didn't want to leave until he met someone really important to him. He sincerely hoped that she would be willing to take him to the village. Although he was aware that she was also busy, so the chance of joining was small, but he still hoped.

Kamado Kie, his mother, watched with a small smile as her son stared ahead, lost in thought. It was really unusual for him. It is usually always in the present moment, the thoughts only caught up when it was about something really thought-provoking. But she was actually aware of what he might have been thinking. She loved her son, but would it really be bad if she took the chance to tease him for once?

"Tanjiro." she finally called, and the boy immediately returned to reality and looked at his mother with an inquisitive look. "Yes, mom?" Kie could only giggle as he looked at her innocent and ignorant face.

"You seemed really deep in thought. What was the reason?"

Tanjiro froze for a moment, but disappeared just as quickly.

"Nothing important. I was just thinking about selling today's charcoal." he answered. Actually, it wasn't entirely a lie, as some of his thoughts were indeed about that. But the rest, and the larger part, was occupied by a certain girl, who unwittingly always made him feel warm.

Kie just gave a knowing smile. It wasn't the biggest, so you could only see it if you were really paying attention. He knew that Tanjiro had noticed, after all the boy was very observant. Only his sense of smell was better than his observation skills. He was really talented. He was even able to determine the person's mood with a small sniff. But he was not intrusive, so he only did this when he felt the need.

"Are you sure that's all? You didn't happen to think of a really nice girl?"

Tanjiro's face turned red in no time. The blush wasn't very big, but Kie could easily tell it was there. It was no secret that his son liked the girl. If you paid a little attention, it was easy to filter out this fact. Although Tanjiro never said anything about it, since whenever she appeared as a conversational situation, he tried to divert the topic with a blushing face.
