Ash and Leon were fighting each other in the Pokemon Master 8 Tournament Finals, and everything seemed to go in Ash's favor. Losing only Sceptile, our protagonist had five pokemon available for battle, while Leon only had four.
Serena cupped her hands around her mouth, "Ash, keep it up! You can win this!"
Sophocles also yelled, "Do it for the glory of Alola!"
Chloe petted her Eevee in her arms and smiled. She used to think Ash was just a doofus who did a lot of silly things. Who would have thought this stupid, childish research assistant who went on crazy adventures with Goh could challenge the strongest Pokemon trainer in the world?
"Are you enjoying the show, Eevee?" she scrubbed Eevee's fur.
"Eevee!" the pokemon chanted.

Leon took a deep breath and looked at the Pokeball in his right hand. He knew he had not tuned his mindset for the battle yet, but any more procrastination could lead to his disqualification.
"If there is anyone who can turn things around, it's got to be you! I choose you, Urshifu!"
Leon threw his Pokeball into the battlefield. A muscular, humanoid bear roared. It was standing on one leg, posing a mantis-like stance. Right fist pointing forward, left fist behind, it was the Rapid Strike Style Urshifu, a water fighting type pokemon.
To Ash, this pokemon seeped a strong blue aura that could suffocate people. Only truly powerful pokemon could wear such an aura, like his Lucario. But within the blue aura, Ash also sensed a weird second type of power deep in Urshifu, waiting to be unlocked.
Leon pointed in front, "Urshifu, use Surging Strikes!"
Ash quickly countered, "Dragon Claw!"
Water formed and cloaked Urshifu's fists and legs. It sprinted forward and arrived at Charizard in a split second. With his activated green claws, Charizard blocked Urshifu's right punch, but was quickly hit by the bear's left punch. The fire dragon counterattacked with a swing by his right claw, but Urshifu ducked the claw and swept his legs, causing Charizard to lose balance and fall to the ground.
Ash gritted his teeth and thought to himself, "That...That's really fast!"
The martial arts bear kicked Charizard, sending him all the way to the wall. The dragon was surprised by Urshifu's overwhelming fist powers, it was on a completely different level than his own.
"Close-range combat won't work on this pokemon at all!"
Charizard painfully pushed himself out of the wall, just to see Urshifu dashing at him at extreme speeds. Out of pure instinct, he flew into the sky, avoiding Urshifu's punch at the last millisecond. That punch from the bear created a huge dent in the wall, shaking most of the audience's seats.
