Chapter 25 - Scrimmage

The Author's POV

I have been going over how to shoot the ball and how to hold the stick. I showed them a few tricks with the stick and that's when we started working on shooting while the goal is being guarded. I am guarding the goal and they all attempt to shoot the ball and most of them make it in except for Chad, so I give him another chance and he makes it in. We go over this many times and each person takes a turn at guarding the goal. That's when we divided up into two teams, me and Red on one team, while Chloe and Chad are on the other. We found protective gear in a Shed and we put it on. That's when we see Cinderella and Charming coming out. I guess they wanted to watch. We scrimmage for about an hour. My team is up by 2 while the score is 4-2. We still have 10 minutes left. We all play our hardest and I score again, but so does Chloe. We have 2 minutes left and the score is 5-3. That's when Red scores and Chad tries to score, but is blocked by me and Red. The game is over and the final score is 6-3.

Chloe's POV 

 We have been going over how to shoot the ball and hold the stick. Kylie has shown us some tricks with the stick and that's when we started to work on shooting while the goal is being guarded. Kylie is guarding the goal first and we all attempt to shoot the ball and we all make it except for my brother Chad. Kylie gives him another chance and he makes it the second time. We do this many times and we all take a turn at guarding the goal. I did pretty good and so did Red. Chad on the other hand didn't do too bad. That's when we divided up into two teams. Kylie and Red on one team, while me and my brother Chad on the other team. We found protective gear in Shed and we put it on. That's when I see my parents coming out. I guess they wanted to watch us play. We scrimmage for about an hour. Kylie's team is up by 2 while the score is 4-2. There is still 10 minutes left. We all play our hardest and Kylie scores again, but so do I. We now have 2 minutes left and the score is 5-3. That's when Red goes and scores and Chad tries to score, but is blocked by Kylie and Red. The game is over and the final score is 6-3.

Red's POV
