Chapter 10 - School Starts

The Author's POV

It's been a week since me and Chloe saved Red from Ace and her mom. It's our first day of school, so I wake up Red and Chloe and tell them we have to get ready for school and surprisingly we all have the same classes. We all get ready and we head to breakfast and we grab our food and sit together in the cafeteria. We finish eating and we head to our first class. I see three seats, so we all sit together. 

Red's POV 

I am glad I have the same classes as Kylie and Chloe. Maybe school won't be so bad and maybe I can make some more friends. We go to the cafeteria and have breakfast together and eat. Once we finish eating we head to our first class. We all sit together in class. 

Chloe's POV 

I am glad I have the same classes as Kylie and Red. I love school and I hope that everything goes smoothly. We go to the cafeteria and have breakfast together and eat. Once we finish eating we head to our first class and sit together. Everyone else walks in and the teacher follows and class starts. We have a few more classes today and every single one we sit together. 

The Author's POV 

All of our classes are finished for the day, so we head back to our dorms and I get ready for tourney practice, while Chloe gets ready for swords and shields practice. Red chooses to go with us and watch us both play by watching half of my practice and half of Chloe's practice. After our practices are over we head to go to a local area and eat there together. 

Chloe's POV 

I have swords and shields practice, but Kylie has tourney practice,  so we can't watch each other practice. Maybe one day we can hopefully, but at least Red breaks it up, so she can watch both of us practice. 

Red's POV 

I really wish they didn't have practice at the same time because I didn't really want to break it up and just watch half, so I can watch both of them, but it really doesn't matter to me. I might join a sport, but I don't know which one. Maybe my friends can show me how to play since we didn't have any sports in Wonderland. 

The Author's POV 

It's the next day and we have an all school assembly in the gym and Uma talks about how next Friday is parent visiting day. I am saddened by this and Chloe realizes it and comforts me. I look over and see that Red looks worried and I whisper to her that it's going to be okay. The biggest concern I have is how the QOH might react to Red not being "injured" and where Ace is at. 

Uma's POV 

I tell the whole school that we are having a parent visiting day next Friday and I look around and see a few students saddened or even worried. I let everyone know that everything will be okay. I dismiss everyone and tell Red and Kylie to stay behind, but Chloe also stays behind because she's best friends with them. Chloe, can you give us a minute? She says sure and walks outside.  I talk to them about their parents and how the QOH will not be coming to family day because of the incident with Ace and the incident with Beacon Hills. She's not welcomed anymore here at AP. 

Red's POV 

I am glad that my mom isn't coming to AP, but also glad that she's no longer welcomed here. I guess I'm on my own for now, but me and Kylie both are going to be without parents. I guess we can spend the day with each other which doesn't bother me. 

Chloe's POV 

Uma asked me to step outside. I really wanted to know what they were talking about, but I can ask them later. It's probably just about family day. I don't have anything to worry about and that's when I see them walking out together.
