Uma's POV
I go to Chloe, Red, and Kylie's dorm and see that nobody is around, so I call in some of my pirate friends to search for them. That's when I turn around and see the girls standing in the doorway. I start asking them questions "where have you guys been." They asked if we could talk alone, so I send out my pirates outside to guard the room. I call the search party to stop searching because the girls have returned to the dorm.
The Author's POV
Me, Red, and Chloe start talking about what happened and why we weren't here in the dorm. Uma has that proud look on her face because me and Chloe risked our lives for Red. I explain, yeah it might be shocking, but my parents taught me that everyone deserves a chance no matter where they come from because all that matters is what is on the inside. I explain what happened and who attacked us and how Ace kidnapped Red and how me and Chloe had to go save her.
Chloe's POV
Kylie is doing really well on explaining the situation to Uma, but the biggest thing I still question is how did Kylie break through the barrier. That's when I heard it. Kylie was talking about how Ace had Red in a choke hold, which I guess made Kylie go into overdrive and break the barrier.
Red's POV
Kylie is doing really well about explaining the situation, but I still am just a little nervous. Ace and my mom failed their mission, will my mom plot her revenge against me and my friends. Will she come back to finish the job? We get to the part of the story where Ace holds me in a choke hold and I see Kylie on the other side of the barrier getting ready to break it down and she's getting closer and closer her eyes glowing yellow. Right before the barrier breaks her eyes change to red. I need to ask Kylie how that's even possible.
Uma's POV
I am proud of you Kylie. You put your past behind you and saved a life that deserves some recognition. Kylie tells me that she doesn't need it because she will do it again if she has to. I tell the girls that they don't have school this week and to settle in for real and to prepare themselves for the start of the semester. We pushed the start of school back because I want to make sure that the new students are comfortable and ready to learn and have adjusted to their new environment.
The Author's POV
After Uma left, Red pulled me into the bathroom and explained to me what she saw and I explained to her the whole trinity of werewolves and how we each have different roles in the pack. Thats when I let her know what each eye color means: red=alpha, yellow=beta, and blue=omega/take an innocent life. She asked me since my eyes changed from yellow to red what does it mean. I explain to her that my eyes changing like that means that I am a true alpha. It's those that earn it because they didn't steal it from another alpha.
Red's POV
I am asking Kylie all sorts of different questions and she doesn't hesitate to answer them. I have learned, so much about werewolves and the different types. I guess the person that put their claws into the back of my neck was a killer because his eyes were blue that's when I realized I faced death more times than I can count. I told Kylie before we left the bathroom to look at the back of my neck and she sees the claw marks and puts her hand over them acting as if she's take the pain away.
Chloe's POV
They have been in the bathroom for a long time. I knock and they say "coming." I ask them "is everything okay?" They both say, "yeah." That's when I ask Kylie about her different abilities she talks about them for a little bit and tells me that she wants to show me something. Kylie gets up and faces me and Red and she glows her eyes. They are a different color than last time. I ask her why her eyes are different and she explains to me that breaking down the barrier and saving Red's life is what changed her eye color and that she also talks about how taking Red's pain away earlier weakened her a little, but reassures us that she is okay.
