Azara's POV

It's been three weeks since the Battle of the Bands and me and Douxie have been spending more time with each other. When we're not working or busy, we hang out at the park or spend time fixing things around Arcadia at night. In just a few weeks we've managed to revive the connection we once had. Well as much as it can, while I have to keep a couple secrets from him. But oh, how I missed talking to him. I've seen him play with his band, Ash Dispersal Pattern, they're great. I haven't personally meet the members yet, only seeing them from the crowd. Toby has been off doing who knows what, so I've had time for other things. An example would be sending Shade back to hell, but he's been completely gone since the last time I saw him with Douxie and Kaleb at the park. Not even Hex can find him, but once I get the slightest energy from him I'm going shadow-man hunting. 

I'm at home right now reading and listening to music in the living room, still in my pj's. Since mom's at work, I had time to clean, reorganize my books and bake some cookies. They're still in the oven, so while they're done I finish my current book. Today has been pretty calm but I have a suspicion it won't last long. Considering every time I have some 'me time' something ends up interrupting me. Maybe I should stop jinxing myself. 

And as if on cue the front door gets knocked on harshly. I glance up from my book with an annoyed look. 

"Azara! Are you in there? Well I know you're there cause your car is outside but please answer!!" Toby yells still knocking on the door. "It's an emergency!" 

Of course it is. I mark the page I'm on and place the book down. I get up from the couch and lazily walk to the door. Reaching for the door nob I open the door wide revealing an annoyed and not pleased me. I stare at Toby for a second and look behind him to find Eli and Steve. Great.

"What is it Tobias?" I ask one hand on the open door and one on my hip. He visibly shrinks. When Jim and Toby were a little younger and I was babysitting them I would call them by their full names to signify they were in trouble. 

"You remember Aja and Krel, right?" I think for a moment. They're the kids that came over a few weeks ago. They're the ones who got Jim the lighting in the bottle. 

"Yeah, what of them?" I raise a brow and look down on all three of the teenagers. They all look like they're in a silent hurry. "Spit it out or I'm closing this door and leaving you to handle whatever this is by yourselves." 

"Aja and Krel are aliens from another planet and they're being trapped at school by some crazy military lady who wants them for weird experiments or something! And all our friends are there too! Being held against their wills for some 'quarantine'!" Toby lets out in one breath and takes an exaggerated deep breath in. "We came to get you as back up!" 

"Dude, I thought we were stoping here for weapons or something! Not so you could bring your best friend's older sister with us! And why did you tell her about Aja and Krel?!" Steve raises his hands in the air and yells at Toby. I stare at them. They start bickering and I shut the door in their faces. I listen to Toby yell at Steve from behind the door. I sigh and snap my finger so now regular clothes adorn my body. It's just my favorite boots, black bell bottom jeans and a red bell sleeved shirt. I switftly open the door again and Eli turns white. 

"How did you change that fast!?" He screams. I roll my eyes. It's not that I have a problem with Eli and Steve, it's just that they're always yelling. It gives me a headache. I walk past them, down the porch. 

"She's a witch dude!" Toby informs Eli. He just turn paler. 

"Lets go, before I change my mind." I say portaling away towards the school. Even if it feels like I'm being stabbed in the head, I jump to the other side.
