NO ONE'S POV
"Antagal natin walang ganito!" Sheena cheerfully said.
"Huling gala natin sa Korea pa tapos after nun wala na HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH." Maloi added while laughing.
"Pa'nong mawawalan ng kasunod eh grounded tayo dahil kasalanan mo?" Pambabara ni Stacey but she just receied an eye roll from Maloi.
It was a Saturday, and Stacey, Sheena, Maloi, and Aiah were strolling around the mall to have some time together before the intramurals started next week.
They all knew that they'd be swamped with responsibilities once that happened.
Habang nag lilibot, they entered every shop that caught their attention, buying things here and there.
It had been a while since they had hung out, so they made the most of it, joking around and chatting the whole time at sinamantala na rin nila ang pag titipid nila ng halos isang buwan kaya todo gastos sila.
After a few hours of shopping, they decided to grab lunch at one of their favorite restaurants.
While waiting for their food, the conversation naturally shifted.
"Ate Aiah, napansin namin." Sheena started at dumantay sa lamesa and looked at Aiah suspiciously. "Parang ang close n'yo ni Mikha these past few weeks ah."
Napakurap naman si Aiah at medyo naiilang sa biglaan pag banggit ng pangalan ni Mikha.
Until now, although she's already aware that she's in love kay Mikha, nahihirapan pa rin s'yang iprocesses ito dahil never pa naman s'yang na in love at lalo na sa same gender but she already know how Mikha affects her since then.
"Ah, well... yeah, we've been hanging out a lot lately."
Stacey raised an eyebrow at ngumiti ng nakakaloko kay Aiah."Oh? 'Hanging out' lang ba talaga, Ate Aiah? mas madalas pa kayo magkasakang dalawa kesa sumabay sa'min."
Aiah felt her cheeks warm up a bit but tried to play it cool. "Oo naman, Mikha's been avoiding loudness recently, so minsan, we just hang out at her spot pag hindi kami sumasabay sa inyo."
Maloi smirked. "Minsan? parang madalas naman ayaw ni Mikha sa maingay at MADALAS DIN kayo mag kasama.
Hindi naman umimik si Aiah dahil wala s'yang maisip na idahilan dahil totoo naman.
"Come on, Ate Aiah, sabihin mo na." Stacey nudged her. "Alam mo bang everyone's been noticing how close you two have gotten? hindi lang kami, buong University." She added.
Aiah sighed, feeling cornered by her friends. "Okay, fine. We are close, but it's not... like that."
Stacey gave her a sly grin.
"But you wouldn't mind if it were 'like that,' right, Ate Aiah?"
Aiah froze for a second, she didn't know how to respond.
They weren't wrong.
She and Mikha had been spending a lot of time together.
Her friends had been watching her intently, waiting for a response.
"Actually... I almost confessed once."
