Saylor

Saylor hated Audrey Evelyn. With just four words, she'd nearly gotten Saylor fired from her first ever modelling gig ever.

"Saylor has stage fright,"

Saylor had just laughed it off, for how would a complete stranger know that about her? Audrey was right though, Saylor did have stage fright; and it was bad. But surely stage fright was seperate from runaway fright. Surely if she was modelling she wouldn't be afraid. Todd had looked quizzically at Audrey when she had stated Saylor's fear.

"No, no, don't be silly," he'd said. "Her resume says she has stage experience,"

It was true, she just didn't go fully into the details in her resume. Her employer didn't need to know she ran off stage crying... but Audrey already knew that. But all this didn't matter, not when now she was going to be walking a runaway, stage fright and all.

"You are such a bitch," Saylor hissed, sitting down across from Audrey at the break room table.
"I don't know what you mean," she replied, her eyes flickering to Saylor's lips. Saylor blushed, but sighed frustratingly.
"Why would you tell Todd I have stage fright?"
"Because it's true and we both know you're going to get up on that runaway, and embarrass yourself," Audrey said it like it was fact, and that made Saylor mad.
"You don't know me anymore,"
"I know you well enough,"

Their banter was pointless, but thrilling. It was a secret; secret break room quips and insults.

The fashion show was in two days, so Saylor had 48-hours to prepare herself to get on the catwalk and not wet herself. At least Audrey wouldn't be there, just Saylor and her thoughts and trusty old Todd. Maisie could help with confidence, considering there was not a drop of self-consciousness in that girl's body. She could probably go into the city wearing nothing but her underwear and simply smile at the people who'd stare; nothing mattered to her. #YOLO!
