"Mm! It tastes like you made it yourself, Momma! Those ghosts are really good at this stuff." Bowie grinned as she finished her second plate.

Cassandra nodded, giving a huff from her slumped position in her seat. She ate in an unnecessary rush, and now she was bloated like a skinny kitten with a fat belly.

Speaking of kittens, Grim laid flat on his back on the table with a full belly. You had to check to see if he was really asleep. (He was out like a light, couldn't even snore.)

You smiled at the two girls while you poked at your salami. You hadn't had a decent fill since you arrived here, yet the urge to eat wasn't there. Knowing your kids would comment on it, you still attempted to take a few bites.

- Meanwhile -

"Eugh! What is this slop?!" One student gagged at the sight of mangú plopped into a plate.

His buddy agreed with him, "I never thought Night Raven would treat us like prisoners!" He covered his mouth to muffle his retches as said mangú was garnished with pickled onions.

"Oh please, it's not like that's the only option." A certain student from Savanaclaw scoffed, a plate full of salami, fried cheese, mangú and onions, as well as some over easy eggs. His eyes glimmered like a kid on their birthday, "More for me, anyway."

Ace grimaced at the prepped plates, a mix of curiosity and concern on his face. He looked to one of the head chefs serving the plates, "Hey, what's all this?" It wasn't common anywhere that he knew of.

Auntie O grinned, "Oh, this is a a lil sum'n that missy ova dere taught us. She made it for Headmage, and he loved it so much he wanted it on the lunch roster!" She nodded in your direction.

Ace followed her gaze, his face souring at the sight of you. Of course you were having lunch here too, with your tall, beautiful self. Why were you here with actual students... smiling and laughing with... your kids?

A pit of guilt filled his stomach. The sight reminded him of when he and his brother would spend time with their dad. Not a care in the world, just happy to have each other.

He sighed, wordlessly taking a plate of the new meal addition. The students behind him groaned, "Bro, are you really going for it?"

Ace looked back with furrowed brows, "Don't get your panties in a twist just cuz I'm not playing it safe like you, pussy." He spat, storming off towards your table.

You caught sight of the familiar student approaching your table, your gaze sharpening as he grew closer. Instinctively, you stood up, not risking him trying to swing on you while you were seated. You didn't know if he played dirty like that.

"And what the fuck do you want?" You crossed your arms across your chest, unknowingly pressing your breasts higher. "If you wanna fight again, you gotta wait for the end of the school day fuh that shit."

Ace's face became a shade of pink at the sight, "I don't wanna fight! Jeez..." He trailed off, looking to the side as he held his tray with a tight grasp.

You caught this, raising a brow at the fact that he chose the dish you made. "So wassup?"

He managed to maintain eye contact, but not before catching sight of Bowie standing on her seat and crossing her arms like you. Cassandra couldn't even get up, but turned her head to lazily glare at him.

"I... take back what I said about you and your kids earlier." He said it as if someone forced him to drink a jar of pickle juice in one sitting. "You guys are just an interesting bunch."

You shook your head in slow disappointment, "That ain't finna cut it." Bowie followed along, shaking her head as she glared at the Trappola.

"Huh?! How?!" Ace's jaw dropped, looking between the two of you with confusion.

"I don't accept weak ass apologies." You shrugged as if it was common sense. "You disrespected me and my chirren. There's only two ways to fix that fuck-up."

You held up one finger, "We either fight it out," You brought up a second finger, "Or you properly apologize to my girls." You gestured to the little ones at your table. "It's up to them to forgive you or not."

"Ion give a fuck what you gotta say 'bout me, but I don't play about those two." You spoke calmly, but there was an underlying tone that set your words in stone. You would go to bat for them, and that'll never change.

Ace nearly gave an audible gulp at your words as if you'd put your hands on him at that moment. He sighed, setting his tray down on your table before kneeling down before the two girls that sat side by side.

"Hey there, girls." He smiled through grit teeth as their glares only sharpened. Ace sighed before looking back at the girls, "I really am sorry that I called you those mean things. I don't really think you two are dead weight." He gave a low nod, "I hope you can forgive me."

As much as it tastes like oyster sauce on his tongue to apologize to children, it was only right of him to do so at this moment. It was either doing this or having to get into another fight with you after school. Honey, he was not gonna do the latter ever again.

Bowie and Cassandra shared a look, communicating with nods and lip points, as well as rapid blinks. Ace gazed your way for an explanation, but you could only shrug because even you knew nothing about their odd form of communication. The only one that has somewhat understanding of it was Charina.

With a sigh, Bowie uncrossed an arm, pointing it towards the Heartslaybul student. "If you do it again, we'll have Momma knock your teeth out." She huffed.

Cassandra added, "Then I'll use them for a potion and make you drink it." She hissed, rubbing her stomach to soothe her tummy ache.

Even you grimaced with Ace at their threats. You didn't know you were the hitman of this impromptu Mafia group, and you didn't teach Cassandra any of that.

Bowie held out a little hand, a brow raised high as she spoke, "So, we got a deal or nah?" She bent her elbow, bringing her hand up and down when Ace had yet to shake her hand.

Ace held back a groan, taking her tiny hand in his own, "You can bet on it, little lady." He groaned, taking a seat where he left his tray.

"Ay, who said you could sit with us?" You held out a hand, your face scrunching at his actions.

Cassandra grumbled beneath her breath, "You can't sit with us."

Ace looked between the three of you, since Grim was still out cold. "I thought we were cool now." He said it plainly, "Besides, I wanna see what this is all about before it gets cold." He grinned down at his food.

You groaned at this, sitting back down and ignoring the slight jiggle as your ass made contact with the seat. You didn't think it'd be noticeable due to the material of the skirt, but a choke from behind you unknowingly proved you wrong.

"Oh no, Jamil! You're choking!" A voice called from behind you as the person that was 'choking' simply coughed it off.

"Calm yourself, Kalim. I just, uh... didn't expect this to move- I mean, taste so well..."

The conversation went over your head, blissfully unaware that all the movement back there nearly made Jamil choke on his food. You hadn't met the guy yet anyway.

Jamil sat in the table behind you, taking in the way your body settled in the seat. Your figure was tall yet curvy, he didn't doubt that you towered over him. Not to mention, you looked strong enough to fight even the strongest students here.

An embarrassed heat formed beneath his cheeks, and he looked back to his plate. "Yes, I bet it all tastes good."

"Really? Let me get a taste then!" Kalim grinned, using a spoon and fork to snatch a scoop of mangú and stabbed his fork into a circle cut of salami.

This caused the Viper to panic, "Gah! Kalim, we don't know if it's safe or not yet!" He didn't even have a chance to stop Kalim when said boy already shoved the contents into his mouth excitement.

Immediately, stars shined in Kalim's eyes, "Wahh~ It's amazing! There's so much flavor in this! Who made it? I must know!" He stood up and marched towards the kitchen, eager to find out who taught the ghosts to make this new dish.

"Wait, Kalim! Oh nevermind." Jamil rubbed his temples, resting his elbows on the table.

Meanwhile, you watched as Bowie tried to hold Ace back from his plate. "You're gonna choke if you inhale it all like that!" She scrunched her face, her feet against his back as she tried leaning backwards with his collar in her hands. It did nothing to stop the freshman from devouring the food in front of him.

"Damn, shawty. It ain't going nowhere." You grinned, watching as the food disappeared with each blink.

"How does something look so gross but taste so good?!" Ace gasped as he took a gulp larger than he could handle. He looked at you with wide eyes, a blush on his face upon remembering that you were the one that introduced this recipe.
