I check the time and it's already 11:36 in the evening so I turn to Savannah only to see her draining the champagne from her glass. I don't know how many glasses she finished since earlier but I think this is enough for tonight, she still have to go to Xavier's tomorrow.  
 
"That's enough." I said when she was about to pour some more on her glass.  
 
Savannah turned to me and I sigh when I saw how flushed her cheeks are, she's getting drunk and as much as she's looking cute right now, she has to stop.  
 
"One more--" I snatched the bottle from her hand and put it down.  
 
"No po. Tama na yan." I said and smiled at her. "Let's go home now. You still have a project to work on."  
 
She grunted upon hearing that. "I hate that project and I hate the models." She whispered and closed her eyes. 
 
Models? Di niya yan nabanggit sa akin pero baka sila yong nagsusuot sa mga designs na ginagawa nila. 
 
"We should all go now, it's getting late as well." Seb said while checking his watch.  
 
Thank you, Seb. I actually needed that.  
 
"No way, the night is still young! I am actually planning to go to the nearest club and dance my ass off." Sabi ni Saint.  
 
Punyeta, sakit nga to sa ulo. Baka masapak ko to ngayon.  
 
"I think Kate would love that, right?" Panggatong pa ni Saint kaya napalingon ako kay Kate na tumingin din sa akin.  
 
"Uh, not... really. I mean, yes I love the idea but--" she was cut off when Saint sprung from her seat.  
 
"No buts darling! You only live once so we better make the best out of it!" Saint said and even held Kate's hands.  
 
Oh, God help me.  
 
"It's not safe for her to go out, I have to bring Savannah home as well since she still has some errands the next day."  
 
"Aww, my poor cousin. You may bring her home and don't worry too much about Kate, she is safe with me." She said trying to reassure me.  
 
The word safe does not fit her, to be honest. I know I just met her tonight but with how she behaves, I think she is reckless. I will never let Kate near her, ever.

"No. I am sorry if I seem to be a party pooper right now but I can't let that happen--"  
 
"You're not Kate's mom, right? She's a grown up and I won't cause her harm." Saint said that made my blood boil.  
 
I cleared my throat and was about to tell her to shut up when Savannah said something that made me halt.  
 
"Let's all go to the nearest club, this is just for tonight. I am fine." I snapped my head at Savannah and she smiled at me, a drunken one.  
 
"Really. I am fine and sober." She said again when I did not say anything.  
 
"I don't think that's a good idea, Silver." Sam finally stepped in.  
 
"No one cares about what you think, Sam." Pambabara sa kanya ni Saint.  
 
Aba't? Bastos din to ah! 
 
"Saint, you should really stop that. It's annoying now." Seb said glaring at his twin.  
 
I sigh once again and held Savannah's arm, "Let's go home now. We only planned a dinner so no one is going to a club tonight, at least not you or Kate."  
 
"Damn girl, don't be such a bummer! We're just going to have some fun." Saint complained.  
 
Alam ko na naka-inom siya kaya di ko nalang siya papatulan. I never like being confrontational, especially to someone I just met.  
 
"I am really sorry, Saint. I do not want to put Kate in some trouble."  
 
She scoffs, "It's like you're telling me I am trouble."  
 
"No, it's not like that--"  
 
"Well, guess what? I think it is." she cuts me off, that's the second time now.  

Medyo nagulat ako sa tono ng boses niya, pero pinanatili kong walang reaksyon yong mukha ko.
 
"Hey, don't talk to her like that." Sam said and glared at his cousin.  
 
"Oh, come on now! You're ganging up on me--"  
 
"Shut up, Saint. That's enough." Seb said and stood from his seat.  
 
Kate bit her lip as she looks at me, I feel bad about what happened. This is not the dinner I was expecting.  
 
Saint just scoffs and puts her arms against her chest like a spoiled brat.  
 
"Hey Savannah, open your eyes. We are going home." Seb said and tapped her shoulder.  
 
"Huh?" She looked up and I tried my best not to roll my eyes.  
 
Sober pala ah. Tanginang sober yan.  
 
"Give me your car key, I will drive. You ride with Sam, I'll have Saint with me."  
 
After the bill was settled, Sam escorted Savannah outside the restaurant and placed her at the backseat of his car. I put on the seatbelt silently around her. I felt her hands on my waist so I raised my head to look at her, when our eyes met, she leaned and kissed my lips. I was surprised so I was not able to move immediately but after three seconds, I pulled away from her.
