"Everything looks normal" Zach said as him, Natasha, Five and Lila walked up to the porch where her and Diego lived.
"It's possible they solved the Cleanse without us" Natasha said as they stopped in front of the door and they could hear indistinct laughter and chatter.
While holding Hailey with her left arm, Natasha grab Five's left hand which made him look at her "Thank you for coming" she said "Of course, I didn't wanted to be alone, but also you are right, this is the right thing to you, even so I want to stay here, but I rather face this apocalypse stuff with you and my family than spending the rest of my life here alone. Beside we're in this together" he said and she smiled.
"I wonder how the others are going to react with Hailey?" she asked "Well we have to tell them the story, it might be confusing, but they have to know" Five said and Natasha nodded.
"You were right" Natasha's face twists with confusion.
"Look I don't know what got into me. I suppose it is just a part of me that craves a domestic life with you. You know dating, married, having children" he confessed
This way made Natasha feel guilty about the way she lashed out at him.
"But you are right, our family are in danger and while I am not sure we can save them, I am willing to try. With you" he said.
"I'm sorry" Natasha was able to blurt out. Five is one the one who is confuse.
"I'm sorry for lashing out the way I did. It's just I don't think I could go on about my life knowing I didn't do anything to try and stop it" as she tried to blink them away, tears welled up in the corners of her eyes.
"There's no need to apologize, darling" he said "Look you don't need to come with me. I understand that expecting that from you is unfair. But I know that I will not change my mind" she said.
Then he grab her hand "Where you go, I will go, remember" she smiled to each other.
Zach looked at Lila that was standing on his left to see she was scared "Hey, you good?" he asked and she looked at him "It's been seven years since I've seen my kids, Zach. I'm scared" she replied "What are you scared of?" he asked "That they won't love me like they did before" she looked at him
"What if things changes? What if my kids don't need me anymore? And Diego? We weren't doing well before I left" Lila looked at Zach again. Her eyes looked for empathy in his, or maybe even an answer.
Zach let out a sigh. She sounded foolish, but they related to her.
"Your family loves you, and they need you. They are waiting for you. Missing you at this exact moment" Zazh said.
Emotionel has never being Five's, Zach's or Natasha's strong suit, all they could do was being honest. And they were. Five's brother loved Lila, even if it was foolish and he could definitely not understand why. Not many things in life was certain but that was.
