"PLEASE SPARE M-" SLASH

Blood sprayed out of the poor victims once intact neck as the corpse slumped onto the floor. The murderer steps onto its chest as she pulls out her ax from its spine. Her yellow eyes scan across the area of the abandoned factory to make sure no one heard the screams. She knelt down next to its abdomen as she pulled out a butcher's knife and started tearing out its stomach. She pulled out what she came for: Intestines. If she cooks them right she could burn the E. Coli out of the intestines, making it edible. She's been doing it for years.

Placing the goods into her sack she walks away from the scene of the crime. She tears off her leather gloves and takes off her ball cap, and puts the into her sack. She pulls out a map from the sack and looks for her next destination. Her eyes land on a town and she smiles.

"Missoula, Montana here I come~"

.......

"Cody Meier you're late for your shift again!"

"Sorry sir it won't happen again!"

Cody rushes to the back of the bakery and ties on his apron. He's been working at Wheat Montana ever since he started taking classes at University of Montana, home of the Grizzlies. It's his third time being late this month due to his dorm roommate forgetting to pick him up. Again.

A few hours pass and he's on break with his colleague Hanna. She's from the Flathead Reservation and she also goes to UM, but instead of studying Environmental Science like he is she's studying Economics.

"Hey," Hanna pokes him and points to the tv they have in the kitchen. "check that out."

A Breaking News is shown on the television and a reporter is outside of an old factory with dozens of police cars and yellow tape flood the screen.

"- in Challis, Idaho. There have been 23 other cases with similar circumstances across the US indicating that the serial killer the Lumberjane is back on the hunt-"

"Woah, that is way too close to us."

Cody fidgets with his apron's strings and shuffles his feet. He doesn't like true crime or horror, if he could stay away from situations like these he would. Hanna on the other hand...

"DUDE, we have to find this killer!! Think of how awesome that would be. It's like a true crime podcast!!"

"Yeah, you go ahead and do that. I'll just be over here working my shift."

Cody shuffles out of the room and puts on new gloves for his second shift. He likes to make sure to work especially hard so that he can be secured for the future. He walks up to the front and greets another colleague. The door chimes indicating a new customer and he gets to work.

"Good afternoon how may I help you today?"

"Well, I would like to have a double chocolate muffin, and if it's possible your name cutie."

Cody's face flushes as he sees the most beautiful person he has laid eye upon. The woman had scarlet colored wavy hair and freckles dusted on her nose and cheeks. What was striking about her was her almond near yellow eyes that looked almost as if they were honey. He finishes her order and she pays, but she still lingers looking at him with a curious look.
