"Sooo..." Lucifer's fingers tapped nervously on his knees as he fidgeted. The remainder of the group had gone away for a small portion of time, leaving you alone with Lucifer. It honestly reminded you of your first conversation with Charlie about your prelife.

"Yes, Luci?" You asked, yarn weaving between your fingers are thread wormed its way around the piece you had been working tirelessly on for the past few days.

"Lucifer," he corrected. "I think we should talk!"

"We are."

"No. I mean like talk, talk. Tell me about what you've been doing in hell, with my daughter, and uh, y'know your mortal life," he rambled, hands waving up and down and side to side aimlessly.

"I killed people up there. Sentenced many a person to a brutal death when some could have escaped that fate. I was a mercenary of sorts. I answered to those above me and did what I was told. Bending the rules only as I had to. I assumed this role after I killed my bastard husband and his mistress," you recited.

"Wow! That-that's a lot," he was nervous and it was laid out on display. You weren't used to this side of him. He, as all Seraphims did, were very well versed in masking emotion. Within the confines of the beaming light, only positivity remained. Which got increasingly exhausting as the years passed.

It was always an odd sight to see those who held such great power express themselves so openly. Not that you would know much about it. Perhaps things changed up above after you descended.

"Any other questions?"

"What did your husband do?"

"Was it not obvious? He cheated on me," you responded.

"Yeah, but, like," Lucifer was twitching now. Whether out of pure nervousness or otherwise, he was very aggressively fidgeting with his hands and the hem of his skirt. "What exactly did you do to make him cheat?"

Your blood, if you had any, went cold. Frozen solid. Your head turned towards him slowly, [color] eyes unblinking. "Excuse me? Would you care to repeat that, your majesty? I don't believe I heard you correctly."

"Um...what did..you do to make him cheat?" Lucifer winced as each word retumbled out of his mouth.

"I feel very offended you think I did something to make my husband cheat. As I said, he cheated on me with some other girl. It went on for months before I found out. I was a working wife, and sure, maybe the time we spent together had grown shorter when I assumed my job, but so did his," you retorted angrily. How dare he assume anything of what 'you' went through on earth.

You weren't really mad. Well maybe a little. Apparently Lucifer wasn't very caught up on the world above and it's customs.

"I-Ok. I'm sorry, y'know haven't been there in forever, soo," Lucifer's words were shakey. It appeared he didn't expect such backlash from his people.
